when i got to the fnaf part the game was good but then theres 0 tutorial and one of my cameras is being jumped by white circles. then a weird shadow mask thing comes from the hallway and makes me be able to move, breaks my flashlight and the cameras. and somehow the shadow mask gets stuck between the wall and a camera yes all this happened in 18 minutes
Started off good, but once it got to the point and click part it got kinda laggy and not as fun.

Having been through a ton of haunted hospitals..schools...asylums...crypts...and a surprising number of pizza joints and toy stores, I can't tell ya how refreshing a proper European castle is as a setting for a horror game! Some ghost hunters have gone to an old haunted castle. Collect video evidence of any spookenings, and try to not get killed! This job doesn't pay anywhere NEAR enough for that! The game is in 2 segments, the first has you wandering the castle and placing cameras, the second is basically FNAF, as you use the placed cameras to monitor all the ghoulies, and try to defend yourself if they get too close. You have to survive till 6am, you then get scored on how much footage you got. ^ this all is immediately NEAT, a FNAF where you can place the cameras? Set in a haunted Scottish castle? And you actually have to get footage of the beasties? AWESOME! Although the game only has one real level, and you have to place the cameras where you're told, this is still a great concept that I'd love to see more done with. Besides the main mode, there is also a custom night. You don't get to place the cameras, but can adjust what enemies appear and how difficult they are, with a slider from 0 to 10. So the best challenge is is to go ALL-10. The ghouls that appear are: Spirit: Mostly harmless little glow-orbs, but if they get too close to a camera, they drain it's power. You can hear them from other cameras if they're draining. Use the cameras audio function to make sounds and scare them off. Phantom: A floating mask, if it gets too close, shine your flashlight on it for a few seconds till it disappears. Armor: A suit of...armor. They're in the same room as you, you can hear them clinking as they get close, shine your light on them till they get all the way back to their original position. Poltergeist: Little hands with faces. They gradually appear on a camera, if they fully materialize they'll attack you. You can hear their static from other screens. Just turn their camera off and on again to get rid om them. Revenant: Despite looking the nastiest, you can mostly ignore these, as they only attack you if you shine your light directly on them. Devil: This guy appears in the story mode, but you don't encounter him in the camera segment. ...Getting attacked by an enemy isn't instant death, it seems like you can take 3 hits before game over. Now, I did encounter some bugs: Occasionally a purple pill-like thing would appear on the cameras, I'm guessing this is some kind of enemy path-locator that probably shouldn't be visible. This is harmless tho. In the camera placement segment, the game did lag a few times, it may have been the fog. At one point I panicked and opened/closed the camera too fast, which messed it up to where both screens kind of got stuck on each other? I don't really know how to describe this one. It only happened once. The game froze once, I had just shifted to a camera to see a Revenant and 2 Phantoms all in the same spot, and everything seized up...I guess too many enemies in one place at one time? ^ the camera glitch and the freeze did each wreck an All-10 attempt, but I cleared it on the third try. The main game should be clearable in under an hour. At the end of the story mode, the Dev left a journal talking about the games development, how much work it was, and why it's sort of unfinished. Personally, I think they did pretty well! Yes this is very unpolished, it has bugs, and didn't do enough with its concepts...but I still had a nice time, and this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for this spooktober!...tho now it has me wanting to go back and play the FNAFs I haven't beaten.
