About
Cairn’s realistic simulation allows intuitive climbing: find the best holds and place your hands and feet seamlessly with simple controls. Adapt your posture, effort and balance —if you're not careful, you will fall!
As pro climber Aava, you embark on the ascent of Mount Kami, a summit that has never been reached. Along the journey, meet unexpected companions and hear from those left on the ground. Discover the mountain's history and decide what Aava is willing to sacrifice to achieve her dream.
You are free to climb anywhere. Explore the mountain, read the rock face from the ground and plan your route carefully to reach the top. Solve problems while on the wall to navigate difficult sections. You can climb on anything, so choose your path wisely!
Climbing is challenging: each wall feels like a boss fight. A thrilling challenge for those eager to test themselves, but you can also adjust the difficulty to customise your experience.
Manage your resources to survive during the long ascent: pitons, chalk, finger tape... but also food, water and medicine. Set up bivouacs and explore the mountain to find resources to reach the summit.
An unforgettable experience from the makers of Furi and Haven, with music and sound design by the team behind Limbo, Inside, Control and Cocoon, and art and story by renowned comic-book artist Mathieu Bablet.

joguinho bom, mesmo a mulher sendo uma chata do caralho.
CAIRN feels like a playable version of the Myth of Sisyphus.
Every hold, every slip and every meter gained is earned through patience and sheer percevierence. You fall, you climb again, you fall, you climb again, and somewhere along that pattern, the goal stops being the summit. The climb itself becomes the reward. Like Sisphus pushing his boulder, you are constantly confronted by the mountain's challenge and indifference. It doesnt case how close you were to the top, or how long you've been climbing. Yet, unlike the myth, every climb makes you wiser. It opens your eyes to what you can and cannot do, how to manage stamina, and how to make your movements more deliberate. And slowly, through that cycle, what once looked impossible slowly becomes achievable. The main character also gives off this absurdist vibe. Where nothing really matters and she doesn't really care for what is going on. She just... Indifferent. In a way, climbing this mountain, is like her act of defiance against an indifferent world. Although I have a long ride to with this game, I am thoroughly enjoying the process. Like the myth, One must imagine the climber happy.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

amazing graphics with endless exploration potential
This game is simple, relaxing and satisfying. It reminded me of when I played Death Stranding. I find it peaceful traversing the world and in this case climbing.
good
Очень интересная игра
I got this game cause I love climbing irl and expected this to be a fun physic style game. What I did not expect was the emotional tale it told. Aava, the climber you play as, is one of the world's best climbers and goes on a journey of scaling the unscalable, Mt. Kami. On this journey you see the effects that having an obsession over a personal goal can have. When you start, Aava is an unlikable character (imo), but as you ascend with them you begin to understand their obsession as you too become determined to reach the summit despite the repercussions. If you enjoy games like Death Stranding, where the struggle of the journey is the point, then I highly recommend checking this game out.
What a beautiful game. The climbing mechanic is innovative and fair. It's a chill game, but it's also very challenging. There are secrets to find, plenty of places to explore, and it's a journey to the top.
what the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i just wanted to climb a mountain why did you have to make me cryyyyyyyyyyyy. 8/10 fun climbing game, co-op would be awesome. there was times where the cut-scenes / story felt intrusive in the climb, mostly mid way through and at the end :( edit: i wanted to add that the climbing in this game is pretty dang good, its not as simple as "make sure each hand and foot has a good hold or you'll fall", body tension matters, the slope of the rock you're climbing, how long you're in a bad position, when did you recently find a comfortable position and rest for a moment etc. It is janky at times or glitchy, but i think it's because the climbing mechanic has a lot going on behind the scenes so there's bound to be edge cases that it doesn't solve for (like Aava's limbs can phase through each other, I tried to avoid that to keep the climb realistic) It's pretty awesome how it feels to climb in this game, and its made me want to climb in real life lol. I'm looking into monthly passes at a local rock climbing gym :D
