this game does look really cool but the only problem is that it uses LAN which means you can only play it localy. so again if you have friends to play it with that is great but most people don't so you will just be stuck running around an empty map. this is not as much as a review as it is a warning but is a really cool concept.
Really fun! Although, I would really enjoy an online multiplayer mode but I understand why you can't do that for a free game. Great game and I reccomend you give it a try!
This was a really good concept, just to add a little price, online multiplayer would be great, also more weapons to use would be good, the game was programmed well and with a little bit of work this could turn out to be a really fun game. So, it's a good concept at heart, but it REALLY would benefit from online multiplayer. I give it a 8 - 9/10 and expect to fly around in low gravity a lot, pretty much most of the time really.

This game is amazing! It offers 4 vastly different maps and 3 intriguing gamemodes. The simple idea of the "tether" is an exceptional addition to the game and truly makes it a 3 dimensional shooter. Only having LAN as an option, while sounding unimpressive, creates for a better experience as groups of friends can meet up and have a free for all brawl right next to each other. One suggestion to the developer, a good idea may be to introduce a level/map editor into the game. This will allow players to create and share, through the workshop, their own maps which can lead to interesting game mechanics such as only 1, tall cylinder in the middle of the map which all players will tether to. However, compatibility for a third party map editor, instead of an in-game editor may be easier and quicker to implement. Overall, a really great, fast paced shoot-em-up game with awesome movements mechanics. 9.5/10 Eagerly looking forward to this games future expansions and other games to come from the dev. Great work!
CAGE IS THE BEST VIDEO GAME EVER MADE I had no friends until CAGE. A mysterious person showed up at my door one day and offered to bring me to a CAGE LAN party. We played 10 minutes of CAGE and then had a 3 hour gay orgy. Thank you, CAGE, you truly are the best game ever made.
This game is really good, the only thing it needs is an online mode. Especially now during quarantine. I understand that I would need to pay for the game but frankly its worth it.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There are no available servers and no player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This dead PVP low poly arena shooter features a "never done before" grapple/swing mechanic, but unfortunately this "never done before" gimmick was implemented much worse than all the other games that used that feature before. The "originality" of amateur game developers will never cease to amaze me. Anything, this brought nothing new to the table, looked and played worse than all the competition. It's no surprise it failed. So, CAGE is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 13 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Great game! If you want to play online you can use free VPNs on PC like Radmin VPN or LogMeIn Hamachi. Then tell your friends to enter the IP you have on the VPN into the game and you can play anywhere! Definitely worth playing. (I recommend Radmin VPN as it is more plug and play and much simpler to setup for playing online)
