If you are looking to use the game to learn some hacking. Don't bother, it can be hard to follow at times and the tools used are not always ones used in real life. I could not figure out how to complete the final level. The postnam is confusing to use. There was no proper explanation and I was stuck on it for around 30 minutes before giving up. In summary, I would not recommend this for fun as its quite cryptic. I would not recommend this for education as not all of it is transferrable to real life skills.
A short but fun "hacking" game that leaves you wanting more. It's priced fairly for it's length, and the dev has a new game coming out that's similar that'll be worth checking out. I do have complaints on the technical side of things, though. Consider this nit picking from a network engineer, not a huge critique on how fun the game is or anything. It's a bit too friendly and just technically inaccurate when it comes to certain things. i.e. they have you nslookup an email address, when you should be getting the mx record(s) for the mail server. For some reason IPv6 is listed, but you are still entering a v4 address. You FTP to a UDP port, which makes no sense as FTP is only TCP. It should be TFTP if you're going to be going over UDP. Some of these things seem over-simplified for no reason. I hope the next game is a bit more realistic when it comes to the basic networking concepts. Looking forward to trying it out.
It's a good game for its price, worth a try. Little hard to understand at times since it throws you in at the deep end and doesn't give you too much support but pretty soon you'll understand the basics. It'd be fun if a sandbox mode was implemented so you could hack whoever you wanted but it was released today, good work.
Its a little bit confusing at the start but its quiet good for its price. Worth a try.
The game is a little short, but in my opinion it's worth the price! I believe this is the developer's first game, but it has a good variety and depth in the missions. Give it a go!
Short but good, and at a two euro price tag well worth your money if you're already finished with hacking games like NITE Team 4 or HackNet and are in need of more terminal based hacking. While some game mechanics were difficult to figure out, most of the puzzles will be relatively easy to solve if you've played a game in this sub-genre before. One moral gripe I have with this game however is that in episode 5 you
help a guy get revenge on a woman by giving him access to her private folder with nude photos. Not cool, wish the game gave you the choice to either help him or protect her.
I was worried before purchasing it, but the game is very enjoyable and it is a very good game for its price. I recommend it.
not recommended as it is too short of a game and the way the story goes, it just dumps you onto scenarios without proper tutorials. In which you go online to search for answers and spoils the fun.
Good game, cheap price, definitely worth trying to spend time.
I don't now if i'm dumb or something but i can't get througuh episode 3
