About
Welcome to the Colony… or what’s left of it! But Why Together is a short, chaotic, and fun co-op platformer where a brave penguin leaves the colony in pursuit of the ultimate truth. Playable solo or with friends, your goal is simple: jump between platforms, dodge unexpected hazards, and whatever you do—don't fall into the water!
Navigate perilous courses, dodge giant rolling snowballs, and survive collapsing platforms. But beware: the biggest threat isn't the environment. The real danger is the penguins standing right next to you.
Friendship is Temporary, the Parkour is Forever
Co-op doesn’t always mean cooperation. In But Why Together, you have all the interactive tools to either "help" your friends or send them straight into the abyss.
Slap 'Em
Patience is a virtue, but a good slap is faster. Slap your friends to clear your way, or push them off platforms just when they think they're safe. Trust no one!
Watch Out! Snowball Impact
Why jump when you can be launched? Throw a snowball at your friend and watch them fly from the impact. Use it strategically, or with pure malicious intent to send them into the water.
Celebrate the Chaos
Did you just watch your best friend fail a jump for the tenth time? The only logical response: hit the dance button and assert your dominance on the ice.
Key Features:
Challenging Platforming Experience: Jump, dash, and survive on collapsing platforms and dangerous courses.
Chaotic Co-op Multiplayer: Gather your friends for a fun party experience filled with inevitable betrayal.
Interactive Trolling Mechanics: Slap, throw snowballs, bounce your friends around, and dance!
Short and Sweet Adventure: Test your friendships with fast-paced, meme-worthy fun.

Reviews
The game is really fun so far. The parkour mechanics feel enjoyable and satisfying. I already had a good time playing it and I’m looking forward to future updates. Good luck to the developer 🙂
From my experience, the game runs quite stable. I didn’t encounter any major performance or optimization issues while playing, except for a few minor visual bugs. One of the biggest missing parts is the lack of a tutorial. Especially the snowball throwing and emote system take some time to understand at first. You only later discover that emotes are on keys 1–9 and snowballs are thrown by holding right click and pressing left click. When played solo, the parkour section feels a bit short; adding more chaos or different interactions would make it much more enjoyable. The starting area currently feels a bit empty and long. Adding small parkour sections or mini puzzles in the future would be a good improvement. Overall, as an early access game it provides a solid foundation and has strong potential to grow further.
这游戏真的是好玩到老冯做飞升了!!! 太好玩了!!!!!!
Recommended 👍 1- Came for cute penguins. 2- Left with trust issues. 3- 10/11 masterclass in ruining friendships. The Real Review: To be completely honest, this game is an absolute blast if you have a group of friends to play with. The physics-based penguin parkour is smooth, the slapping mechanic is hilarious, and the maps (especially the giant snowball chase) are pure chaos.
nice game
It sits right on the fence between okay and great. It offers a solid, fun time as it is right now. Plus, knowing that they are actively updating the system to make it even more entertaining makes me want to stick around and see what happens next.
Honestly, it's not the best thing I've ever seen, but it's far from bad. It has a surprisingly fun vibe to it. You can see the developers are actively working on it to make things much more enjoyable in the future. Worth checking out for a casual run.
It's neither a masterpiece nor a total disappointment, just somewhere in the middle. It's actually quite fun to kill some time. The best part is that they are constantly developing it to make the experience even more entertaining. It has good potential.
Great game to play with friends! It's so much fun and constantly getting better with new maps and features. 8/10
