Burst Into

good game

the game is overall alright. the price is in offer alright. the one achievement work.

If it was a 2 hour codeathon project I could at least appreciate it on some level. this would make more sense as a protest on the steam green light change to show theoretically how bad the games on the store can be after the change than it does as an attempt to make a game. To describe the game you play as either a military guy or as an extraterrestrial alien in a third person vs shooter. Starting with 100hp, your goal is to kill the enemies as many times as you can because the game doesn't track how many times you killed them or how many times each individual died at that. It features three maps; a forest with a highway, hole-in-the-ground "lake", and a military base in a forest. Each being buggier than the previous and easier to clip out of bounds and get stuck on a flat surface than the last. You get a choice between a multitude of weapons such as a gun, a grenade launcher, an rpg and a normal grenade. The projectiles for each are just squares with the exception of the grenade which looks like the standard public repository model you get when you look up "grenade", even though it is named german grenade and has the stick grenade image (probably for an added effect of irony.) The gun while you can "aim down" its sights by clicking the right mouse button it doesn't visibly change your accuracy or your fov by any significant amount. The rpg and grenade launcher's projectiles are square boxes, one curves downward after you fire it the other flies in a straight line. Both detonate upon contact and deal lethal damage in the vast majority of cases. Now there are also a few vehicles in this game, a flying saucer that has a square hitbox despite its round appearance that spins up after going up vertically some halfway to the skybox limit and allows you to traverse the landscape by all means. In addition to it you also have two alien cars that are just as buggy and include detached wheels on the front and back.

one of the worst games to somehow still remain in the steam store. yet somehow more playable than anything requiring rockstar games launcher
