Not worth the time downloading and playing it. Just look up a playthrough.
weird....very weird. Not a game, more like a walk through movie, one of those naughty foreign films from Europe that has naked flesh slongs. I counted 2, one young and one old. It had nice art, story was....well, i'm really not sure. If you like collecting quirky code, this is your cup of quirk. If it's on sale for 8c, pick it up otherwise, meh. 4/100

Cons: Movement feels bad. I understand that the character shambling about at fractional snail speed is part of the atmosphere, but for a walking simulator, it is a crime that walking is unenjoyable. Also, it's a pretty world that makes me want to explore, where you're not really allowed to explore. It's very linear and because of the weird angle, random assets are often in the way unless you move just so, which means occasionally, it's hard to tell whether I'm not supposed to be where I am or whether I just need to shift my ass five pixels to the side. Inconsistent about what it's trying to tell you about your interactions with the world. Every interaction seems mandatory, except for the thai food and flushing that guy in the test tube at the end, which I assume wasn't required because it seems to have done nothing. Sara said to buy thai food and I couldn't find the spot to interact with. Punching the second cherry barely gave me any coins. I think you only need 100 for that door, and cherries are meant to give you 50, and you're meant to have spent yours on food so it forces you to hit the second guy to progress even after it's showed you that what you're doing is attacking real humans, but if that's the case, I should've been allowed to circumvent it by collecting enough coins and not spending any, otherwise why is it possible to end up in front of that door with over 100 coins? Menu has no key binding options, so if WASD doesn't work for you for any reason, it'll be uncomfortable. Said menu is unpleasant to navigate and can't be exited with esc, and has no background, so when I accidentally opened it during the end credits, it was white on white and i couldn't see anything and I had to alt-f4. Pros: Stunning art direction, decent use of light and geometry to direct your gaze. I found it jarring that this zombie-looking guy I'd been staring at for 20 minutes suddenly had a name, the familiarity of the AI almost felt more dehumanizing than crawling around trying to find pants to wear.
This is added to by the fact that you steal the headset off a dead guy and it's probably his name, so it all really means nothing, but in an interesting, deliberate way.
The green area at the end is very pretty. I THINK you're given a choice, but I'm not sure, I'd have to play again to tell you. It sort of fumbled its themes and metaphors, but not so bad that it's not worth playing. I enjoyed my time with it enough that I didn't need to have something playing audio in the background.
Probably the strangest...and most disappointing game I have ever played. I didnt understand the concept at all and there wasnt a correlation to anything that happened next. Just a skip from me 2.7/10
I get what the game is trying to do, to be like Inside or Little Nightmares - but without jumps or puzzles, so it's just for atmosphere. Except that even the story and design are just the usual clichés. I know I'm being harsh here considering a lot of work obviously was put into the game, but if I'm simply walking around with barely any interaction (and with slightly janky controls because of the awkward camera placements and collisions), there needs to be something worthwhile in other aspects. Even as a free game it's difficult to see it as anything else than a waste of time when for instance it gives you a row of doors, none of which opens. The game teases you with potential stealth or running sections, but nope, it's just waiting or walking. There are one or two interesting ideas like a world governed by VR addiction that leads to absurd acts of violence, and the visual contrast between before and after putting the headset on. But not much else seems to have been thought out or go anywhere. You hope for a payoff at the end but it's as empty as the rest. ** spoilers ** You put on a jacket and suddenly you go from being a pack of meat to basically the chosen one able to shut everything off and take control of the world? Anyway, maybe I'm missing something, but in any case I don't recommend.
Meh ... not a game, just a walking sim. But its free, so what gives.
