Very Epic Tower Defense game! I would like to preorder the Digital Delux edition if possible!
"Bugger Off!" is a rather mediocre but functional tower defense game that seems to have you using giant frogs and other things to protect against an invasion of giant bugs. I feel this is unrealistic. The game lacks polish and there's a few mechanics that either don't work properly or aren't fully explained, which can lead to some frustration. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.
Is fun forg tower defense. Thaddeus must be stopped! Mobile version when?
Best frog game! Already waiting for the Sydney level :)
Frog goess brrrr
Is there no way to close the frog upgrade menu? I can't seem to place a frog anywhere but I also can't stop placing the frog? The tutorial message is stuck on the screen when I open the store? I get the sense the dev made this game entirely for people to call it 'buggy' so he could reply and say 'yeah it's full of bugs that's what the frogs are for' so go ahead and do it, Ribbit Inc.
