Brooke Vs. World Doom

Very smooth movement and gunplay. Gameplay and moveset provides a great base, expanded with a solid set of levels and challenges. Lots of room for speedy gameplay, does a great job of making you feel 'powerful' as you storm through levels destroying objectives and scoring points.

This game is awesome and has a lot of charm! Cant wait to see more!

Brooke vs. World Doom is game for everyone. It has elements of lots of fun games such as Zelda games and Super Mario Odyssey. The art style is vibrant, fun, and playful but don't let that fool you. Brooke is out risking her life to save the world. I don't want to ruin the game but she has to defend herself from plenty of unique enemies. The game is very rewarding for any play style. You can blaze through the game at mach 1 and still experience everything the game has to offer. You can also take a slower approach and find secret areas and helpful perks to make levels easier. While controlling Brooke, if you somehow let her die, you know you messed up big time. The levels don't catch you off guard, you're just bad when you die. With that being said the levels are challenging and anyone who can beat the game on hardcore mode with one hit deaths and 1 life, I respect you greatly. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys having fun and loves pizza!

[b][u]Key provided by developer.[/u][/b] I'll be honest, this isn't my usual cup of tea. Probably the closest thing I've played to Brooke Vs. World Doom is My Friend Pedro, which isn't a perfect comparison by any means. But there are some similarities; This game has a sense of quirky humor and has really responsive, tight controls. There are only 4 levels in it's current Early Access state, but they are very distinct from one another and change up the gameplay significantly. The fact that each level has a time requirement means replaying them is rewarding, trying to beat your previous bests. The action never quite boils over to full blown bullet hell, at least not on the difficulty I played, but it's chaotic enough to keep you constantly on the move. At the end of the day, I think this game has a lot of potential - all it's really missing right now is more levels. I think if you like action platformers that don't take themselves too seriously, this might be one to check out.
