"Broken Blue" is a rather badly made VR tech demo, and it seems the purpose of this tech demo is to work out how to do VR in such a way that it makes users get sick really quickly. What do you do in the game? You drag yourself around, develop a new appreciation for Dramamine, maybe solve some puzzles if your stomach will hold out... really there's not much here, from bad graphics to basically untested VR mechanics... it's understandable why this failed. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 8 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Tentative "Yes" on this one as it's going to be very dependant on whether you can handle the method of locomotion. The game itself involves finding and then solving about 8 or so puzzles. The puzzles themselves are pretty good and the graphics are nice. The little monkey things have a fun personality. The way you get around is through a kind of pinch, drag and zoom. The results of this make for some interesting variations in your sense of scale, but it really twists your head. If you are prone to motion sickness then this is going to be a problem. It isn't helped by the fact that sometimes you have to drag yourself through the world and into objects, which also feels very uncomfortable. Additionally I found the controls felt extra screwy when you are already inside a smaller area. Definitely interesting but beware.
I wish there were more games like this. I like playing a lot of puzzle games and this game showed me something entirely new while also showing me cool things that can be done in vr.
This game as fun puzzles and a little more than i expected too. I find the way you can adjust the world for your preference to be really cool too. This may not be the game for you if you cant handle grab movement well. The grab movement felt glitchy at first but I quickly got accustom to how it worked. The game isn't incredibly polished but i dont think that impedes on the experience at all. The way you explore and find the puzzles is quite charming as well. If you like puzzles at all, you should definitely try this game. Its refreshing to see somone put work into a free game in a world where people are putting barely any work into paid games. (Note: I have 87 minutes in the game as of this review but I played on a limited account that cannot review)
The game seems interesting though I've played it just for some minutes. I'm giving it a "Yes" for now since it's free and I love puzzles. But (and here comes the "but" part) ... man, it really made me sick when I had to move from one place to another using the side buttons. I felt a kind of dizziness I had not felt before. I think this is something in which you have to work on. I don't think I'm the only one with this "motion sick" problem in this game. The rest, as I said before, seems nice and I think it worth a try. For now I'll close my eyes when I have to move myself. PUBLICADA: 14 DE DEZEMBRO DE 2016 I liked this demo. The visuals were cool and I love the scaling of the world. Overall, I think the game has a lot of potential. My basic problem with the game is not motion (I got used to it really quickly, for some reason), but the fact that it kept stopping. I had to play it 4 times (always from the beginning! ARg!) to get the second puzzle to finish. The yellow bits kept moving to outside the cube, making it impossible to finish. I've made it through the 4th puzzle now, and it froze again. I can't move, and I'm sitting here staring at the monkey pressing on it's pads... The game won't let me do anything again, so I can't go on to the last puzzle. I had a lot of problems with the game controls in that they kept wandering around; my pointers wouldn't stay on the ends of my controllers, but kept moving in and out. That made the second and fourth puzzle a bit difficult, as I'd grab for a corner, and I wouldn't know what it was grabbing, etc. Finaly made it, only to have it stop again. I'm assuming there was a motion of some sort after the 4th puzzle, my screen just went blank then back to the monkey, and I was stuck. Not sure I want to play it again to try and hope I can get past it.. Anyway, I think the screen controls are fine; grab with one hand, and I could spin and move while holding another piece, etc. Cool! Now, if they just kept working cleanly... yes, I was plagued with "stuck" buttons as well. Would like to see what else you have in mind...
Как же подзаебал этот маинкрафт... Ну ♥♥♥♥, нормально
