This game is great to an extent. It’s fun, and you can do quite a few things, but there are many bugs, frustrating game designs, and a lack of explanations. 1. There is no save option besides sleeping in your bed. 2. There is no fast travel. You have to walk everywhere, which takes almost the entire day, leaving you with barely enough time to do anything. 3. There is a bugged achievement, and maybe more. For now, I only know that the "3-Star Coffee Shop" achievement is bugged and won’t trigger. 4. NPC patience meters are quite ridiculous. The game barely gives you a second to reach 5 stars. 5. The game does NOT pause when you talk to an NPC, open chests, your inventory, or ovens. 6. Points are not being pulled to the player. During the part-time jobs, you won’t earn 1-3 points because they are out of reach. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s still annoying. 7. Time passes slowly, and you can’t sleep to skip to the next day. Have fun waiting. 8. You can’t leave the forest. It’s bugged, and the totem won’t let you exit. I tried three times and got stuck every time. 9. There are supposed to be keys for removing built objects, but they don't work either—they're just placeholders at the moment. 10. Lastly, the game won’t explain anything to you. You have to figure everything out yourself. For example, I still have no idea how to kill slimes, bees, etc., because it’s never explained. They just leave you alone, surrounded by a ridiculous amount of monsters. It’s really overkill at this point, and you can get stuck in trees or bushes, making it even easier to die. This game has such a unique style, reminiscent of older games, and the concept is great. It’s just sad to see that the developers don’t seem to care enough. It feels like they’ve abandoned the game, as the last update was on June 22 and they started working on a new game. It’s disappointing that a game with so much potential was left unfinished. In its current state, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s too frustrating with all the bugs and the unfinished feel. It seems like the developers gave up at the end and just left the game as is. Really sad. Edit: Also, I'm really frustrated. The game is not in early access, meaning it should at least be functional, but it’s not. I’d understand if it were an early release, as that would mean the money I spent is an investment for the future. But this feels like straight-up scamming people. Please, stay away from this game and spent your money on a game that actually works. (I will change this review if the dev´s actually update the game and make it functional, until then this stays.)
The game looks very cute but encountered a game breaking bug in the tutorial at the very start that prevented me from playing further. Its a small indie dev so I do not wish to try getting a refund. However, would hope the dev fixes this bug as I wanted to stream this but could not.
💧 Hate to trash anyone's passion project but this is truly disappointing. Played enough to say it's unfinished because the tech. part is completely broken. Bugs, softlocks, item disappearances etc, there's a lot. The worst part is the game design (it's intentionally uninteresting). The controls are clunky, there's no logic or sense in certain mechanics, poor balance of things, boring decisions (like holding a button for half a min. or more). And it's a small game, with the exact same town. There's no depth to the characters or interesting dialogues. The pixel art is also pretty mediocre (seriously where's the texturing, outline?) No desire to play to the end. 1/5 of the time I just left it in the background to unlock some achievements, but platinum — JUST NO, this is boring madness and (judging by the stats) no one will do it.
It feels unfinished. Several quests that should have been marked as completed just aren't. Not sure if I'll be able to finish the game. :(
I played this for a few hours, and had to say the game takes 2-3 hours to get used to. After I cleared that 2 hour mark, it became addictive. It was hard for me to put down the game and ended up playing it for good amount of time. UI can use some improvements for sure, but overall it was worth buying the game.
the art in the cutscene catfished me... unfortunately the game is not good :(
I really wanted to like this game. It reminds me so much of Graveyard Keeper which is one of my faves. But there are so many bugs and glitches it makes it unplayable. I had a few issues with things being thrown out of bounds and unable to retrieve and glitches in the graphics that were making me unable to play at times. But my most persistent issue was my inventory glitches. It didn't matter if I had nothing in my inventory the status bar for free space wouldn't update even when i restarted the game and then started a new game all together! Hoping they fix their glitches because as of now its disappointing.
Game runs stably stable but has bugs that make it unplayable. All items crafted at any kind of workbench simply disappear instead of going into your inventory, leaving me unable to complete the tutorial involving the sawhorse. I also had done some fishing and the same thing happened to the fish when I filleted them. They completely vanished from inventory.
I love the theme but this game feels incomplete. I mean, it feels as if it is not even ready for demo. It certainly doesn't deserve its' price. I didn't have a request of refund since I am still hopeful for this game. It could be developed over time. I am really trying to play it but errors just leave the game stucked since i also found the keys, i mean controls insufficient. If you solve both key and control buttons at needed scenes, some of the errors would be automatically solved. After all these things, the game would really start to make the player feel -maybe enjoyed?
I've played for about 10 hrs so far, and I'm not quite loving it, but it has a lot of potential, and tons of charm. There are a few things that still need to be fixed and/or tweaked, but believe me, it WILL happen. The dev is very receptive to feedback and has been putting out patches on a regular basis.
