Bridge to Nowhere

Boy, when they say "brief experience", they really mean it! See that platform? That's it. That's the game. It's about 2 ft square, and there's nowhere to go. The controllers do nothing, you'll wonder why they even bothered to render them into the game. You look out over a CG low-poly map of a couple of city blocks, that are static, lifeless, and empty. Nothing is animated, no cars go by, not a single person milling about, not even a bird in the sky. There is the sound of wind that loops and never ceases, but without an options menu, you can't even turn it off. Honestly, you'll be done here in a couple of minutes, with no reason or desire to ever return. This is not the experience you want to use to introduce newcomers to VR. There are much more engaging choices available. I won't mention any names, but it rhymes with "theBlu". And I have no idea where Steam got .8 hours on record, there's no way I spent 50 minutes in there. Try it out if you must; you'll see what I mean.

Bridge to Nowhere is an Early Access vr experience, of you sitting on a plank at the top of a high building. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, played?, sounded ok, looked ok. The city below you looks like it was made for playing with hot wheels. Not sure what there is to do in this program. Do not bother to download this.
