I really don't understand why this game is so poorly rated. I mean, it isn't anything special, but it isn't bad either. I liked walking and swimming around looking for chests. So here it is, a positive review to support the game.

I recommend it because it is kind of a lovely tech demo... however it is just a really fancy commercial for PTOB Game Jam. Put together in 32 hours.... which I think is a feat unto itself.
I think it's funny. I think it would be more enjoyable if the advertisement based gameplay was extended, like a sort of super joke on the player's end. i.e imagine an intense chase scene somewhere in an underground facility, and then you end up finding an ad as you escape to the surface, CUT! end of chapter 2. roll credits and play intense music.
There isn't really anything to do in this game... its just... boring

The PTBO Game Jam is an annual game jam event, and BREATHE was the advertisement for the 04th iteration. The theme of the Game Jam was "Pirates Without Borders", a theme that is quite innovatively introduced through the treasure hunt that is basically the whole game. The game was built wholly in Unity, and while it's very nicely done I had some trouble with the visual HDR being turned up to the point where I couldn't see in dark places, so do turn down the visual quality before you play. There's nothing much else to do here other than simply finding various skulls in chests and opening a final tomb, but it was an interesting experience nonetheless. Do check it out if you have some free time on your hands.
