Break It Down

I really dislike writing negative reviews. I also hate being sold a bad product... so here we go...Just having to play this long enough to be able to write a review was a chore. That is your first clue. The breaking the screen to get to the menu was clever the first time. The first time. (I had to reload and restart a few times to get the time in game to go up. No, I am not ok, from the experience. The game starts with a time wasting driving scene that then goes to another loading screen. Then the "game" starts. Want to rebind keys? TOUGH! Want to invert the mouse? TOUGH! Want to walk at a speed that is slower than crawling? Well in that case this "game" has you covered. The walking speed has to be a joke. Want to go upstairs in the house? TOUGH! Do you want your character to walk in third person in a manner that looks exactly like they are trying to hold in a poo on a very slow walk to bathroom (Hope it's not upstairs) This game NAILS THAT! The poo walk is perfection. This is one of the worst "Games" I have seen on Steam. Just a mess. There is FAR better destruction simulator on Steam. Buy this only if you want frustration. Seriously, playing this and being put in a straight jacket are not that different. HARD PASS on baby's first game. As a free tech demo this would still be too expensive. If you like good looking games with fluid movement this ain't it. Not by a long shot. I wont be refunding because as a game designer, this product is such an example of what not to do, that I will keep it to show younger designers.
