it continues to carry the spirit of the original Bratz games well while also improving on the new formula established in Outright Games' previous Bratz' title "Flaunt Your Fashion". the additional customization option were much needed. they add a touch of the creativity from the original Bratz games into this revival franchise. if you found yourself wondering where The Tweevils went in Flaunt Your Fashion then you'll find yourself happy with this game. would recommend to fans of casual games, Bratz, fashion games, and license tie-in games.
For a rhythm game it's often laggy and glitchy. Sometimes when I press the button it just doesn't register.
way better than the last one
Rhythm & Style is an upgrade from Flaunt Your Fashion. The colour customisation of the clothing elevates the experience. Story is different from previous game so the mechanics, being similar as dressing up and smashing buttons, it does feel different from the first of this new generation. Sometimes even challenging! I appreciate OG games keeps making Bratz games. Obviously targeted for children, it still does something inside millennials that grew with the Bratz.
I give it a thumbs down because after grinding for all of the achievements, the last one glitched out and never triggered and now I can't 100% the game.
I loved the old Bratz games. OG has consistently disappointed me. The DLCs are basically worthless. It's still better than Flaunt your Fashion, but only because you don't have to purchase the content in-game. However, you still can't give the original 4 Bratz any of the downloadable hairstyles, you can't change the Tweevils' hair or makeup, and you can't take off Hanae's mask or change her hair. The only thing that makes this game worth playing and replaying is the color customization option. Other than that, it's boring. Every mini game is exactly the same "pose duel" with different music. The game itself looks beautiful, but the gameplay is still not what we wanted. They fixed the main issue, which was the lack of fashion. But they ignored features from previous games, like rollerblades, racing, matching games, pets, side quests, designing your own fashion. and THE MAGAZINE ARTICLES. I'm going back to my PS2, because this just ain't it.
I'm very glad Outright Games listened to the adult fanbase of these games and raised the difficulty. If you were a little disappointed in the lack of challenge the mini games in Flaunt Your Fashion had, you will be pleased to hear the pose duels, gym sessions, and stage performances all have a good bit of a challenge to them. There have been a couple of times I had to do the same section repeatedly to pass. The ability to change the color of the clothes improves outfit creation significantly, and I like that you have to keep track of trends and styles. Even creating outfits in this game (with a perfect score in mind, at least) has a bit of a challenge to it as opposed to the previous games I highly recommend and I look forward to the next installment! Thank you for keeping the Bratz alive!
not the ps2 version BUT a massive bratz improvement form the other game with actual bratz music and sadly yes no custom makeup but custom clothes so alot of variety.. enjoyed how the tweevils are back and bird face and they plotted to ruin the bratz once again, the gameplay felt like doing forever diamondz in rep tiny bit but fun, have a disability and hahaha the minni games are only tad challenging so did it alot of times but enjoyed it as i got to listen to the music alot so that was fine, the gym minni game is bit more harder for me so i tend to skip it hahahah. but i would say for bratz fan and younger audience its fun, mabye help your child in few minni games if coordination is bit hard........ 8.5/10 (only due not ps2 bratz og, pets or rollersaktes) BUT Brownie points for refs to movies and old games. the tweevils deserve an oscar very funny
I understand having the passion for fashion after playing this game
This is a step in the right direction for recent Bratz games, despite the repetitive gameplay. If there was just a good chunk of the Pose Duels removed (please... there's FAR too many) and more voice-acting/cutscenes, this could be so much more polished. Recotechnology S.L. seem to get it -- especially with the memes and clothing options. It shows that they did their research. We want more Bratz games like this, Outright. Just please use the PS2/GC games as a reference point.
