Me encanto,excelente videojuego...muy entretenido.
Bramble is a great cinematic platformer that explores Nordic folklore like you rarely see. It starts off slow, teaching mechanics and a little about the universe, gnomes that are bros in a forest that's so colorful that it looks like a painting. But things descend into madness pretty fast, and it doesn't get better. The game explores Nordic tales that I had no idea of mostly, but now I am glad I know about them. The environments are well-crafted and the graphics are solid, but what sells it are the vibes and atmosphere. At one moment you are at a very vibrant forest, the next moment you are inside a pitch-black tunnel where you can only see the eyes of twisted creatures. I played it during the night/daybreak, and the visuals plus the remarkable sound design provoked real chills. Talking about sound, the OST is insane. Instrumentals that really immerse and match the game's insanity and eeriness, with usage of Nordic instruments, akin to The Northman or Hellblade. Gameplay is fine. Feels a bit clunky at times, but nothing major. Wish jumping was more responsive. The game has a few bosses, and it's that design that turns the battles into puzzles, no combat or health bars. Fits. It lasts around 4-5 hours, and I really recommend playing it in one session. The game is very graphic, and some themes can be really disturbing. Bramble is a gem. I wish we got more Lemus. Good bro. Always stoned tho. 🎼 Madness reigns! Hahahahahahaha In the Hall of the Mountain King. 🎼
Exceeded my expectations! Surprisingly scary and well-made! Gruesome in the way that only old school fairytales can get--the death animations are totally unflinching. Not for kids in spite of the subject matter! Short but sweet, a very good few hours with a few collectibles to go back for if desired. No other complaints!
Me surpreendi muito com o jogo. Macabro e lindo, uma trilha sonora incrível e com uma história muito bem explicada!
Very nice game with lots of interesting figures from folklore. The initial cuteness fooled me against the great scares
The main point of this game (put in the title and in trailers) is that "Hall of the Mountain King" is great and someone wanted to make a game about it. It appears only once in the finale which is a bit dissapointing but fine, there is a whole fairytale of a game to play which is very fun and genuenly good on it's own. But then you come to the big boss fight at the end and the song is played just fine, gets muted wierdly everytime you die so its a bit jarring BUT THEN you win! you have completed the final challenge and dethroned the moutain king (spoiler but what did you expect so bruh) and insted of the epick finish we all know and love from the song? It CUTS, it just full stop cuts and the cuscene goes into some super calm generic music and soft narration... like a slap in the face, utter dissapointment. Which is a real shame becouse the fairytale game that it is is really fun and unique and worth playing :(
