Bramble: The Mountain King

I’m playing this on the SteamDeck at 60fps ( think it could go higher ) and on High settings which is just below Epic settings. I went into this thinking and telling my wife it’s like a fairytale story game and would be cool to have the young niece sit and play this with her ….changed my mind a few hours in, there’s blood, guts gore in it and some of the characters would give the niece nightmares for months ha ha. I’ve played about 4 hours and really enjoying it, the first boss was easy to fight and I think the others might be as there’s no fighting mechanic as such you can just throw things at a set place but I can tell a lot of love and care went into this game. The game has the other game Grounded feeling as you run or walk through a linear path but daisies and other small objects are bigger than you. One thing I’ll say is the way enemies moves work is pure RNG even though it’s the same moves they change order between deaths ( if you die to there moves ) Plus you can feel the Nordic setting throughout the game via visual and the soundtrack that plays during gameplay. Very glad I picked this up and now I’d highly recommend it even at the full price though getting something cheaper is always better.

Oh man. If you want to play the first part of Little Nightmares 2 pushed to its limits with horror and gore, you're in for a treat!

Una vera perla, tutti i riferimenti al folklore nordico e l'ambientazione grafica ti fanno immergere in un mondo fiabesco dove ti senti a casa per certi momenti e in altri ti senti sperduto, avvolto dal pericolo. Il finale magari puó lasciare con qualche dubbio, ma solo se piace stare a rigirare le cose per guardarle da varie angolazioni. é di sicuro un gioco che merita di essere giocato e conosciuto da MOLTE piú persone.

É um jogo estilo plataforma, com um controle um tanto limitado, e com uma quantidade absurda de gore. Adorei a história do jogo, mesmo achando que o Olle e a Lillemor estariam muito melhores se simplesmente tivessem obedecido a mãe desde o começo...

Good game with enjoyable puzzles and great atmosphere and fun to see it dig deep into swedish folklore and mythology!
