In equal measures funny, strange and dark crime investigation mystery, set in a unique fantasy world, inspired by Slavic folklore and some of the classic fantasy archetypes (although they are looking quite a bit drunk around here...)

Bottoms Up! Is a linear visual novel with a compelling, interesting, funny story set in a unique world. The illustrations have a unique artstyle and the animatons are well-made. The music offers a relaxing accompaniment to the reading experience, which is subtle enough to linger in the background without distracting the reader. The story is a perfect read for fantasy buffs, lovers of eastern-european folklore, or avid readers of Terry Pratchet or Piers Anthony. It is a truly fascinating read and I am eager for the second part's arrival.
A novella - that says it all. Start the game and read in this fantasy world. There are some puzzles. It turns out such an interactive book, it's fun.
I really like this game! The beautiful artstyle in combination with the great soundtrack creates an immersive and vibrant atmosphere. The story is really solid too and I can`t wait to read the next chapter!
It's a small indie visual novel. It introduces the setting and characters bit by bit along the story, showing an interesting glimpse of the culture. It reminds a bit of the Witcher, if it was a lot more realistic. I like how it merges the usual background images with the characters, creating a succession of scenes, which are made more alive by the care put into animating small details. There was love poured during its creation. Some transitions could be smoother, although I speak from the view of someone who made some too, so I have a keen eye for it. There is some behavior clunkiness, with clicking directly displaying all the text(most likely because it doesn't check if you already clicked first), I recommend using the spacebar to read. Also, clicking on the UI will count as passing the text, thankfully a right click goes back easily. The art and general theme is pleasant, and the characters feel unique. The stakes got raised and you're left wanting to know how this situation is going to be solved - if only it wasn't so short!
fun and addictive puzzle game that will keep you entertained for hours. the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is uncomplicated and interesting but rewarding. the music and sound effects are also great, creating a truly immersive experience. overall a nice game
Colorful characters and art, an interesting story and good musical accompaniment that provides maximum immersion in the story of the game.
The thoughtfulness and depth of the storytelling in in 'Bottoms Up!' is well worth your time. You become attached and invested in the unique characters, and the story also has beautiful visuals to go alongside it all. Its worth a playthrough, you really wont regret spending your time in this world.
eye opening :O
The art is pretty good and I love the storytelling. At first, it may seem a bit slow, but you quickly get wrapped up and want to resolve the story! I can't wait for part 2!
Great story. Although it doesn't look like most visual novels, it was a pleasure to play.
