I ignored the other reviews of similar nature, thinking my PC would have no problem handling the game. I was wrong. This game is in serious need of optimization, and bugs come at you the longer a match runs. Game becomes unplayable about 10-30 minutes in each match, tested in multiple maps and even on lower settings. Squad pathing needs work, NPCs in the back line often get frozen and don't move until an enemy comes into range, vehicles sometimes glitch and don't work at all - made the mistake of entering one seeing if that would fix the AI only to be stuck in it with the exit button not working - had to force close the game. A shame, I do love the premise of this game
While this game as a concept is right up my alley, the game is far too buggy and broken right now for me to recommend it. I've had my fun but i have to stress that i went in with a decent idea of what the gameplay was and with very low expectations, i wanted mindless gameplay with a little fun, i bought it 50% off and i was treating it like i was browsing Newgrounds games from 2005- and NOT the popular ones, I would not expect anyone else to have the same experience. I've also been seeing talk that recent updates made the performance worse but i have nothing to gauge that, i just know it get unplayably bad if a match goes on too long. The lack of variety for 1v1 / small maps definitely doesn't help.
So much potential seemingly abandoned in a broken state. The game is awesome in concept but held back by its current level of development. The experience is extremely buggy, from individual combat and movement to the fact you can't even upgrade the generator to tier 2 or it just explodes, to enemy factions being just completely unable to leave their base. Outside of bugs the game is extremely unoptimized, even if you have a great PC, 20 minutes into any match it's going to be chugging and dropping frames like crazy until the game crashes. Bugs, Hitbox issues, damage balance, terrible pathfinding, and massive lag make this borderline unplayable. The number of times I spawn into a game and the enemy factions are unable to capture a single point because of their ♥♥♥♥ pathfinding and AI is astonishing. The other half of the time the game can't be ended because the final point bugged out to become invincible. If you can't start the game or end the game and the middle is a buggy laggy mess where every unit is just stuck on rocks because of pathfinding issues then what is even the point. It's a shame because at its core the game is awesome, like the og star wars battlefront, you're capturing nodes and unlocking upgrades to combat whatever strategy the enemy is choosing. You can play more of a commander, grab a squad of troops with shields and flamethrowers to rush an objective, provide sniper support for your front line as they push, or sneak behind enemy lines to try and capture an objective on your own. It's a really cool game, shame its almost impossible to finish a match in its current state. This game has been in early access since 2021 and the last update was 1 map almost a year ago as the devs abandoned it to work on a new game instead. Shameful of them to put their work towards a different game leaving a broken mess behind for everyone that bought their first one. Can't recommend it in its current state.
While this game sounds fun, it really doesn't work. The game is clunky and the AI is underdeveloped. You're suppose to advance your army by capturing points on the map. But, with how broken the enemy AI is, you're unable to capture any points outside of your own zone. The AI and damage 100% needs more development and, based on how this game was released in 2021, I would've expected more from this game. What have the devs been doing all these years? Really disappointing. I wanted to like this game. But, based on it's current state, I wouldn't recommend, even if it was free.
Game on launch was very functional with lag issues sprinkled throughout. Now it's like the game was shattered. Yeah it runs better, but hitboxes are janky, Squad bots don't follow you, vehicles driven by other bots are terrible. Until the devs return to this game (seems unlikely) don't buy it.

CAN YOU FIX THE ai when they are driving vehicles they are always getting stuck apart from that it is a really good game and sub to Baron von games
This game has 0 to possibly negative 100% optimisation. Hit boxes are funky and the tactical view is also messed up. Quick commands using "T" also isn't accurate as it often sends you bots else where, or they straight up forget you exist. Hitboxes do not work when there is a lot of things going on. Buildings cannot be destroyed by anything but a melee by running into the middle of the building and hitting it. Baron seems to have given up on this game and I would recommend AGAINST BUYING IT. Waste of money.
the game is ok but its so buggy and just ends up not being fun
In the current state of the game rn, its almost impossible to play the game. i originally got it because BaronVonGames was making it, but it kinda feels like him and the devs abandoned it. its a shame too, cause the games idea was a good concept.
