Charming and funny with a great soundtrack
ah yes, this is fantastic!
Truly a hidden gem indie game. It's incredibly charming and has great dialogue between the characters! The gameplay is simple but the puzzles are really engaging! Highly recommend. :)
what an adorable and quirky game! i loved playing this and collecting things. such a unique twist on the rpg. it reminds me of the wonderful weirdness of undertale :)
The humor in the writing and the world-building in this game is outstanding. Well worth a play.
A lovely little game.
Wonderful experience. Funny boot jokes. Reminds me of Links Awakening.
I've been unable to really enjoy a lot of stuff and generally feeling a bit depressed, ive felt a great sadness. This game is a brilliantly created and well mastered in its own premise. Though I understand wanting to come back to it and touch up things here and there. My grandfather, and subsequently I as well tend to touch up our paintings through out our years. This is about what I presume to be some sort of creature who shares the shape of a rock, a boulder, or a pebble of some kind, on adventure to find the best boots. I loved the journey, it speaks much to the arbitrariness of things like weapons to kill. A great profoundness in the things that are perceived as smaller sometimes, like finding shells on the beach YOU like, whether they become the next big thing or not. Great ending btw, unsurprisingly surprising. I have felt a great joy, reconnecting with parts of myself playing this game, and giving myself the room to have a great time. Well done.
I had a lovely time with Boots Quest DX. Walking around, finding boots, chucking fabulous swords away… I was satisfied with a single playthrough, but you could go nuts collecting all the items if you wanted to! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a funny and kind-hearted adventure.
Outstanding. Bless this little adventure and other games like it. Packed full of charm, simple enough objective, satisfying and thoughtful ending. Play this. :)
