Bomber Bother is a furry tranvestite evangelism game designed with the intent of pushing specific sexual agenda at children. Social agenda aside, this is an unattributed, copyright infringing ripoff of the Beaver Bother minigame from Donkey Kong 64 (trademark: Nintendo/Rare). It's unclear whether legal action has yet been taken. Taking this seriously as a game it's deficient to the game that it's violating the intellectual property of. Controls seem to be orientated at console peasants, yet this was launched exclusively on PC. Presumably the developers were not stupid enough to push their copyright infringement directly in front of Nintendo and Microsoft (owners of Rare) to invite the inevitable lawsuit. Taking this seriously as a game for a moment (which nobody should), it's a craptastic remake of a pretty bad minigame. It's a 3D rendered low poly top down arena action game where you must "scare" enemies into a hole. It's buggy and mostly broken due to lack of testing and general skill and aptitude from the failed game developers. While controls can be customised and resolution is also customisable, the game fails just about every other general test for PC gaming suitability. Apart from being a crap ripoff of a Nintendo game's minigame, it's been skinned badly to push a questionable social agenda on children specifically. This wasn't intended to be a game for gamers, instead the purpose of this "game" is to push forward/discuss specific social issues/social agenda. It's my firm opinion that video games are not the correct medium for this. It does not improve gaming at all, and offers nothing of value as an actual game for gamers. It may even be harmful as armchair guidance from amateur game developers should never be used as a substitute for professional help. This is often done insincerely by some amateur developers in an attempt to gain popularity through controversy and being "woke", when they are unable to gain any popularity through creating video game works of actual quality and value for gamers. While this is free, it exists as a legal and moral liability for Valve and Steam and should be removed.
BEFORE YOU READ THIS
i'm here to review the game as a Game not if they are "Right About Trans or Not" i'm going to try to be non-political as possible (although the game intention it's to be political and can't do promises) so i'm gonna talk about mechanics, graphics, movement, story. etc
GRAPHICS
the Graphics are Good, what i expect from a Low-poly style. there's no problem and that's good.
MECHANICS
the mechanics in paper seems a great idea, but they didn't execute right y'know? it's hard to play the game and not fall into the pit several times because the floor is made of grease, the donation system makes level 3 and 4 useless, you can just play level 2 (the first level with the donation system) and beat the game, level 1 it's more like a tutorial level that helps quite a lot, not gonna lie. the beavers has a horrible AI that actually commits suicide, and even sometmes push you to the pit, unintentionally a smart move that unfortunately the AI doesn't do because it was actually programed to do it.
movement
the movement is awful, the arrows are the only good movement done by the dev, space to jump in arrows aren't good and are uncommon nowadays if you don't read what the skeleton have to say you will probably not understand what to do.
STORY
the story it's intentionally bad, i did giggle sometimes (rarely) but the story it's a unreviewable core in my opinion, all the core elements are intentionally bad and i won't review because of it.
A MESSAGE TO THE OTHER REVIEWERS
it doesn't matter if you like this game or not, we all have to agree to respect one another about their sexual identification and what you believe you identify as. you can be trans, gay,bi,hetero or anything you want, but a thing that some "reviewers" don't understand it's that just beacuse it's a Trans right game that somehow makes the game unreviewable and automatically a good game. again, trans do deserve rights, people seem to forget that trans rights are not a political statement are a human right. the bigger picture here is not the trans rights debacle. but the problem that people seem to forget that this is still a game that can be criticized for having problems I saw a person saying this game is a "message" so the game has bugs, problems and a bad gameplay design beacuse it's trying to just deliver a message. and therefore it's a not a game. it got uploaded on steam, (A platform of games) and it's playable with an executable, made on Unity a well know engine of games, and you still say it's not a game? My point is, people don't understand the true meaning of critcism and take the reviews more like a personal attack towards the minorites rather than just a critcism towards a bad game or their personal take on a video game at all. I also saw a person on the review section of this game being disrepectable because the game is a trans right activism game, please don't, critics should criticize a product and not an idea or political take from the creator being like this one will not help anyone and can even be worse for both parties. be respectful!
SCORE
my final score it's 5/10 just another """""""""""""""politcal"""""""""""""" game with a fun gameplay (janky but fun) but that still can deliver a message if done right by the developers. edit: 25/01/2022, grammar tweaks and some other change on text.
Bomber Bother
I don't really know what to think of this game, the LGBT+ badger, the skull, the cat, the.. beavers? I honestly don't get this game, the point to it or anything. That doesn't make it a bad game! Not at all! However, it is literally you playing as a cat chasing beavers into a hole. Pros: - It works - It has a story. - Animation is actually decent and I don't recognise these models at all. - LGBTQ+ points I guess? Or maybe that's just the flag of the United Badger Nation. - Nothing confusing about what you need to do. - Free game. - All music and sounds fit. Cons: - I know what's happening, I just don't understand why. - The gameplay is extremely limited. There's not much change throughout the course of the levels. - The beavers wont fall in the hole if you chase them directly into it. I'm not sure if it's because I'm thick as ♥♥♥♥♥ I didn't notice until my 10th attempt at the 1st level, or maybe I could've been given the hint at the start. - I have a serious problem with that cat's hair. - You need to collect $347,137.30 to "win the game." I can't see myself playing that long. Overall, this game is a very simple one, you got a story, you got one game mechanic and one goal. Nothing is really "too hard" to figure out and the story is pretty easy to follow. For a free game, it's pretty acceptable. As mentioned before, the game is free, so what better time than the present to download the game, see what you think and pop an honest review in! See if we can push the active reviews to 100. If you don't like doing the exact same sub-par Mario Party type mini-game multiple times in a row, this game is not for you.
Мужики, спасайте, если наберём 10 лайков и 5 наград, то жена подарит ящик пива
It's a free game that is at the very least entertaining for a little while. The graphics style and gameplay make it feel like it could be a mini-game straight out of Banjo. As I suspect was intended, the mechanics can get pretty frustrating. You would THINK it would be easy to knock the beavers into the hole, but it really ends up being pretty difficult. The simple gameplay mixed with the level of difficulty makes it pretty addicting. That, and trans rights.
