Played this on easy mode - had a fun time rotating, swapping and other manipulations to make words. Will probably return and try hard mode sometime.
Fun puzzle game with some interesting variations. This game offers as "easy" mode as well as a "hard" mode from the first game. Ideal for a casual drop in and play for a while situation.
It was only fair for me to purchase the sequel...at the time before I realized I suck at such puzzle games. The fault is obviously my own, so I'm only giving a 👎🏻 for myself. My Avg. Game Completion Rate is SO disappointed in me... 🤦🏻♂️
This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements and have this game in their backlog (minor spoilers ahead). Description: Blueprint Word: Classroom is a low budget logic puzzle game where you need to put letters in the right order to form the required word. It’s divided into four parts, one for each different mechanism, and easy and hard difficulties. It requires some planning and understanding the mechanisms well and how they move, and because of this I think it has some similarities with a Rubik’s cube, but in 2D. Unlike some low budget puzzle indie games, it has a very well designed, organized and clean interface and selection screens. The chalk-like font and drawings and blackboard background are also very evocative of the classroom theme. The ambient music is ok and relaxing enough but unfortunately there’s only one song. The sound effects are also appropriate and work well with the rest of the game. The levels and gameplay elements are also simple and easy to use. At the start of each part there’s a very easy puzzle to teach how to use the new mechanic, and overall, if you’re used to puzzle games, most will feel easy to solve, even in hard difficulty. Achievements: How many: 6 Achievements. How much time: Around 6 hours. Game difficulty: Easy. After completing the game on easy, the hard mode won’t feel much more difficult and only a few levels will require a bigger effort. The undo button prevents a lot of frustration too, as you can fix any mistake you make without having to start over. Achievements’ Difficulty: Easy. All game related and unmissable if you complete both modes, easy and hard. Overall opinion: Blueprint Word: Classroom a 2D logic puzzle game with letters that looks good and has some interesting puzzles and challenges, and a few levels in hard mode will test your intelligence, but overall you’ll only need some hours to finish it.
