Very fun. Has a lot hidden beneath what you see in the store page. Five consecutive wins are necessary to progress through chapter one, after which new mechanics are added. The game is also very accessible to players unfamiliar with poker hands. It has a glaring problem, though. One of the endings results in a game crash, so completing the game 100% is apparently impossible. Well, .8% of players got there, so not completely impossible, but I can't, and that sucks. Still. I quite enjoyed this.

I hope you understand. It was fun for a few minutes, until realizing that the enemies seem pretty dumb or lack confidence in their hands somehow, which made spamming "Raise" for a few games and winning because they all fold (with sometimes even the worst hands). Yeah, I lost a few times, but it was minimal. Looking at the achievements, there seems to be at least an "Act I," which suggests there's some kind of progression. If there is, it's unclear. After every win or loss, you'll get some cryptic message about yourself and/or your enemies that seems to suggest an ongoing plot of some kind and/or ways to observe some of the enemies' behavior. I'm not sure what they meant, but they were neat. I downloaded this thinking it would just be a weird-looking poker game. It [i]is[/i] "just poker"...but everyone's dumb.
