Bon jeu! Gameplay FR : https://youtu.be/TwqGHD10G2M?si=ry2_Pa7x18J7R7nz
Another 5 dollar half hour game. I'm going to go broke just wanting to enjoy playing horror games. This one was pretty well made at least. No publicly posted updates for the other chapters in almost 2 years so I'm guessing it was abandoned which is a shame.
MPG ARSV
A very good psychological horror game with some great jump scares. The graphics are awesome and very smooth. The story does lack somewhat, but this is the first of 4 games to be released, so this may be built on in the upcoming chapters. I did notice some spelling mistakes in the notes that are picked up but this did not spoil the game play in any way. I know the game is called "blink" but the actual blinking in game sometimes happened at the most inappropriate moment,. it would be nice to have the ability to turn this off (i.e disable button in settings) or to reduce the regularity of it happening.. Again, this did not spoil the game in any way for me. Definitely worth a buy for any psychological horror game fan. Thumbs up from me Keep up the good work Abandoned House Studios, I look forward to seeing more games from you.
I think a lot of the reviews are pretty unfair. They clearly state this is a short first chapter so why people are moaning about how short it is amazes me. OK so is the voice acting a little cringe? sure, but i genuinely liked this. The graphics are very nice and I enjoyed the story and got invested. I've played a lot of bad indie horrors full of bugs and this, is a good one. I will say I preferred the beginning of this chapter when your at the house, there were some very creepy parts to it and an eery atmosphere I think some of that was lost in the latter part but all in all its well worth the 4 quid! really, I've spent 10x as much on a game and its been awful. so thumbs up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aq83L83CNA&t=19s if anyone cares
It's like, 40 minutes of gameplay. There have been demo that are longer. It's the kind of game that will make you buy 'episode 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...' when each one of them is 20 seconds long. I got it for free, but I wouldn't pay for it.
BLINK: The Last Night
A pretty fun and short horror game (that feels more like a demo though) that nails the atmosphere really well. I do agree with Otomon review; the game does have a misleading title. It shouldn't be called "The Last Night" but more like a "Prologue" since the developers confirmed this game is a prequel/prologue to a future planned four parts. The blinking mechanics was getting annoying as the game elapsed. It does have a purpose and yes, you have to notice it. Maybe that mechanic will be better implemanted in futur chapters, I hope so! The "no voice/sound" in the repetition is not a good design in my opinion. You think the game is bugged but it is clearly made by design and confirmed by the developers. The abrupt ending is annoying but it can be understandable. Just the way it ends, you really wonder what the hell is going on in that strange "CAMP" facility. Beside these irritants, I actually had fun with this game (demo) and it does raises more questions than any answers. I do hope the developers craft their creation to fruition and release them in a timely manner since the chapter format is always a 50/50 success story.
RECOMMENDATION:
I recommend you give this short game (demo) a shot someday. However, maybe wait and see if Abandonned House will release their upcoming 4 parts that is! Then get the whole package!
Amazing experience for such a small team. cant wait for the next episode.
Sorry for my english. I really loved the game. Don't listen to the bad comments and try it for yourself. As for the price, I think it's okay considering this is only one chapter, like renting a movie on YouTube. I liked the blinking a lot (it's like, the title of the game, can you read people?). I don't think the bad comments are justified considering it's only the first chapter. I really hope the developpers are gonna make the second chapter. Overall, I really liked it and the bad comments are dumb. 10/10
5-25-26 good game. creepy atmosphere, and scary gameplay. concept is good and fun ideas.
