About
Get ready for an experience you won't soon forget
Sight won’t help you in this thrilling quest to find your friends amongst the zombie-outbreak that occurred during your summer vacation to the Gari island.
Explore with a classical First Person Shooter control-scheme
With intuitive game design the world can be navigated with just sounds using a mouse and keyboard, keyboard only or a gamepad.
Interactable objects guide you to them with sonar sounds, and let environmental sounds like rivers lead you forward. Hundreds of hours have been put into developing and testing systems that help users navigate. For example: Facing a wall plays a sound reminiscent of a blind person walking with a white cane, representing how canes are used by blind people to detect obstacles in their environment~
Varied and Immersive combat
Melee combat? ✅ Stealthy assassinations? ✅ All-out gunfire? ✅ Repetitive? ❌
Pick the approach best for the current situation… or just… challenge yourself for some fun! Like—attracting a dozen zombies with your loud gun :-)
Content:
A short but sweet story mode that can be replayed in different gameplay styles for many hours of memorable experiences
Endless and Training: Two arcade-like game modes where you need to shoot zombies coming in a circle behind you. How long will you last?
Tunnel and Scavenge: Keep walking for as long as you can as more and more zombies threaten to overwhelm you — and your limited ammunition becomes more and more valuable between each pickup!
Bomb defusal: Memorize the spoken sequences and input them quickly to defuse the bomb! Requires both a strong mind and quick fingers!
Try to clear as many challenges as you can! How many “crystals” can you obtain?
More content planned! No promises though!

A zombie survival horror game with separate mini-games? Fully playable with no sight? Is this real? Yes indeed! The main game has many different control options, everything is fully narrated and you get a tutorial too. In the main game you have missions that prompt you along but still give you options. Once you have a rifle do you go out all guns blazing or keep with the stealth kills? All waypoints and enemy zombies have sound prompts so you know where to go, and where not to. There are even challenges to fulfil, just a shame they were not made into Steam achievements. A good game that proves even a blind person could survive a zombie apocalypse, or die horribly in multiple ways. How's that for equality. a definite recommendation.
So yeah, in this game you’re completely blind. No visuals, no flashy effects, just pure sound. Every step, every creak, every tiny noise matters. And honestly? It’s way more intense than I expected. If you’ve got someone in your life who’s blind or has low vision, try this game. It’s a cool and sometimes scary way to understand their world just a little better.
Bought the game once I saw it was live and have already beaten the main story. That being said, in spite of a few controller bugs (with the game providing the incorrect input information for confirming and going back in menus for example), as well as a section that might seemingly be locked to keyboard only, though the game did not confirm this directly, it's not a bad game for what it is given the size of the team as well. I played on controller other than that aforementioned section that might be keyboard only, for the record. The audio design isn't groundbreaking, but has a certain charm to it and the systems, though they take a little while to get used to, are workable with practice. Given there are challenges and other modes, it would've been great to see vertical aiming in this game, as currently it only has horizontal calculations (in 360 degrees). If you're looking for a smaller game to run through and enjoy, I don't think you can go wrong with this, bugs aside. Well done to another developer on a new release.
Very unique! It was really cool playing through the story using senses i typically don't use while playing games. Highly recommend trying the experience!
makes you really feel like a blind zombie survivor
This was such a good zombie survival/action audio game. I really enjoyed it overall. Some people might not like certain things the developer says while trying to be funny, and it’s clear he did a lot of the voice acting himself. Even so, I still found it entertaining, even when it came across as a bit cheesy at times. 🙂 The way the audio is done is, in my opinion, really well executed. Is it the most perfect audio game I’ve played so far? No — but it’s definitely not terrible either. So I’d say if you don’t mind some cheesy lines, and don’t mind that one developer does a lot of the voice acting, then I think this is worth trying whether you are blind, visually impaired, or fully sighted. See if you can live to hear another day! 🙂 5 out of 5 from me!
Truly a unique experience! I was impressed by how quickly you can adapt to the gameplay, even though the concept itself feels completely new. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
This game is truly original, and at the same time, I feel like I'm revisiting the concept of Choose Your Own Adventure books. The game's concept is excellent, and I can confirm that it can be played by both visually impaired and sighted people. Kudos to the developer! I can't wait to continue the adventure!
Amazing game, really unique and gameplay mechanics. Your ears paint the world infront of you, be it a river flowing nearby or the horrors of a zombie, you are sure to get drawn into it. Would highly recommend giving it a try!
