Great blacksmithing sim, scratched that itch that more robust rpgs or crafting games were never really able to. Only "missing" features are mostly QoL stuff which the dev seems to be rolling out all the time. If you're on the hunt for a good blacksmith sim then I highly recommend buying or at least wishlisting it and keeping an eye on it as it's only getting better from here.
Overall a rather simplistic game based on older game designs. However, for $3.99 I've played for 26 hours and that's good value for me. If you're up for a minimalist retro game of blacksmithing, it's a fun flashback.
solid fantasy blacksmithing game for a solid price
I like the way i can relax and make something that progresses the game and my character can use as well. Making money is fairly easy but not like you can be a millionaire in minutes. Very chill atmosphere.
satisfying honestly
Out of all the smithing games ive tried this is deffinitely the best one. the smithing itself is very satisfying. there are a lot of different materials to make weapons with. there are a lot of options for each typ of weapon as well so your not just making swords your aloso making maces, hammers, greatswords, hatchets, and more. there are a lot of options for how you can customise the look of it as well with the different materials. you get to also customice the handles grips and pomels of the weapons you forge. it is a very fun and satisfying game. it does have some bugs but once you report them they quickly gets patched. look at the changelog and see how many patches theres been in the last few days alone. the dev also listens to feed back a lot.
So after a couple hours of learning how to play. the concept of the game is cool, Similar to a lot of other blacksmithing games. But im glad with my purchase for ~$3.
This review will probably change as I play the game, but currently, it's pretty good so far. Yes, it's got it's rough edges to it, but it's very interactive with it's smithing, you can explore the caves for ores & gemstones and selling to adventurers allows you to earn upgrades & resources.
Very good but rough game. not sure if its still being supported and if it is im not sure how to report bugs or contact the dev.
pretty cool
