About
BlightFog is a short, narrative driven RPG, where you travel across a post apocalyptic world on a bike while taking care of an infant.

On the way you will meet other anthropomorphic characters. Solve conflicts and build relationships through dialogues.
Allocate resources between you and the child, find unique items that will influence dialogues and give you new ways to approach different situations.
Your goal is to save the child's mother and get them both to safety.
Will you chose the longer and safer paths, or risk to save time and fuel and take the shorter but more dangerous ones?
Will you let the child starve or sacrifice your own well-being for him? Will you be a pretend-hero, a coward or a fuel-drinking madman who refuses to wear clothes?

Features:

Aesthetically Disco-like, although I'm pretty sure most of the skill checks are predestined, and the intercommunication of the protagonist's body and mind are a little bit inconsistent (I feel like it should be Mind describing surroundings and stuff, no?), but the vibe is still there, especially considering you play an amnesiac with only glimpses of the past haunting you in dreams (and you can wander around naked and flirt with the first person you encounter (and the second))) Very interesting world-building, somehow managed to play for almost 7 hours despite the shortness of a single run, trying to bumble through to find different outcomes, very neat, funsies, a few bugs here and there but nothing a quick reload/reboot of the game doesn't fix. One standout issue (okay technically two but I'll get to the other one later*) is that without the volume of my speakers cranked to near maximum I can't hear much other than the gunshot sound effect; At first I figured the game was just silent, but then I randomly noticed "...is that a voice?" Confirmed it wasn't just my mind when I upped the volume and heard the soundtrack. Overall a short but neat game, neat story, intriguing setting, slight jank, 10/10 would run around naked drinking heavy fuel oi- I mean gasoline again, and I'd be very interested in more game(s) in the same universe/setting/thingy, would be more than willing to pay for such a thing. *One additional note, if the game makes your GPU fans start crying in pain it's because there's no vsync or frame cap by default. On Windows you can find the file to fix that at C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\FogWorld\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini, just change Vsync from false to true or set a specific FPS cap, save the changes, and yer golden.

Very beautiful storytelling, the mind, body and feelings have their own opinions and thoughts, influencing your own choices as a whole. The graphics style is a plus. Bad thing is, I'm stuck somewhere and unable to progress. Overall this game is a heart-clenching story.
This is amazing game. The game has unique graphics. I think it's one of the best novel games. At first time you may not understand anything, but after 10 minutes you reveal the beauty of the plot. And the game has a deep philosophical meaning. It's sad that the game is very short and no has other languages, but the game is so good that I was sitting with a translator. This game should become popular because the author is a genius and making such a masterpiece for free is very cool. (I really want this game to have a huge plot and, if possible, a translation into Russian).
Бюджетный Disco Elysium в уменьшенном масштабе. Если вам понравился большой полнометражный вариант, может понравится и BlightFog. Игра бесплатана, так что всегда можно проверить самому.
ENGLISH! ♥♥♥♥♥! DO YOU SPEAK IT? I have some language lvl I just not interested to translate it
◑﹏◐
Unplayable Furry Disco-Elysium because it soft-locks every other 10 minutes. People reporting this for over a year, dev responding as of two weeks ago on the itch.io page to other things. Don't really get it. May flip if this is ever made playable.
still thinkin bout his stripes-
