Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6/day in the week to Aug 4 → 20.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Perfect, but need more stages and characters!

As someone who has never played a BlazBlue game before or even heard of the series before this, I can confidently say this has the juice. I don't exactly understand everything going on story wise but the combat is awesome and easy to understand. It feels plays like a 2D fighting game or beat em up but really flashy and with hack and slash elements. The roguelike elements are have a unique twist because of that. You have your typical stat and debuff modifyers, but you also get choices to add abilities and combos as well. So you can kind of customize the type of fighting character you want each run. Really my only issues come down to some nitpicks. While the animations and playable character designs are gorgeous, the enemies and areas are kind of bland to look at. A lot of generic sci fi henchmen and robots with generic neon cyberpunk backgrounds. Could have used more creativity in that instead of areas essentially being pallet swaps. And the translation issues are pretty evident (and don't even attempt to use English VA as I think half of it is text to speech) or it's carrying the baggage of being in a series bc I couldn't understand half of what it was referring to sometimes due to weird terminology. But none of that are deal breakers, you're not getting as smooth of a combat system in a Roguelike anywhere else. That clearly was the main concern and that's great.

This is just a mediocre roguelite game that doesn't respect your time, lacks any sort of variety and every run is essentially the exact same, there is so much flashy stuff going on in screen that doesn't allow you to see what is even going on, and the bosses are unfair and cheap as hell. First of all, there is barely any variety at all, it's just the same stages, the same enemies, the same bosses, etc. And have in mind this is a game meant to be replayed constantly, and it just gets tedious after a while. The game gives you the illusion of creating a new and original build every run with the upgrades you obtain, but they essentially have the same function which is damaging enemies, so it kinda doesn't matter at all what you pick, they all do the same thing but have a different animation, just pick the items with the highest rarity. And then there are the bosses that seriously don't feel well designed at all, because most of the time the whole screen is covered in flashy things because of your own upgrades or stuff the boss does, and a lot of the time they do attacks you can barely predict, so combine the 2 things and you have battles where you get your entire health gets destroyed super quick while not knowing what the hell is even hitting you. Just go play something else and don't waste your time with this game.
After finishing every achievement, both story routes, difficulties, challenges, etc., I can confidently recommend this game to any fan of action-focused roguelikes. If you enjoy games like Hades, Dead Cells, and other games with deeper combat systems instead of overwhelming amounts of items, you’ll probably love this game. Despite coming from a fighting game franchise, the combos aren’t difficult. They were simplified enough so that anyone can pick up and play, without making the combat feel dull or repetitive. Each character has a wide variety of skills, normal attacks, and tools available — as long as you’re willing to unlock them DURING a run. The positives No character is truly bad. Tier lists mostly show that viability depends more on each player's personal preference than on actual balance. The soundtrack is phenomenal. The story is okay — a typical Japanese-game style story where you need to explore every corner to fully understand what’s going on. There aren’t any bosses that feel unfairly annoying or excessively difficult. Their attacks make sense and are reactable.(Unless you are trying to no hit, which is optional.) It has both local and online co-op. The game doesn’t really have many negatives. The biggest issue is that the replay factor isn’t the best. Other than trying different characters or self-imposed challenges using the entropy system, once you complete all 31 boss challenges and finish the highest difficulty, there’s not much left to do. That said, for the price, I think it offers more than enough content. BlazBlue Entropy Effect is still receiving updates and DLC, and by looking at older reviews and gameplay videos, you can clearly see that even with a very small team, the game has a lot of potential and has improved significantly. TL;DR: The game is great, the combat is addictive, the visuals are stylish, and the price is more than fair for the amount of fun you’ll get out of it. Buy it if you want something to play with a friend or if you’re a fan of action roguelikes.

Amazing combat and a huge amount of characters who can be combined in interesting and useful ways, but you have to know that the true final boss has a random instakill attack that will definitely ruin your day, if you just happen to be a little too close to her. Definitely ruined mine couple of times.
