Simple but fascinating, I once spent a week playing a similar game on my push-button phone, it was nice to play something similar again :)

Why are 2D game programmers such bad players in real life? Because they're constantly trying to jump over low obstacles, thinking there's a hidden bonus, and when they fall, they expect the game to reload from the nearest checkpoint! And God forbid they encounter a staircase – they start frantically searching for the "up" button to climb it, and are very surprised when they just walk up it.
