Blacksmith: Dark Times

This game is bad in new and interesting ways. The physics are broken, the textures are horrible to look at, the game mechanics are wonky and unintuitive, the UI is illegible (Bright light green text on a white background??), Save games delete themselves and the game occasionally crashes to desktop due to what I believe to be a memory leak. I could only get the game to stay running for about 10-15 minutes at a time and gave up after an hour. I suspect this was the product of a single junior developer. If that's the case, then what is here is impressive in a way. But this should not be being sold for any price. I hope they treat this as a learning experience and put it towards something else.

From what I've been able to paly, its interesting but the tutorials leave a lot to be desired. Like they're unclear and also gone. Once you click "ok" and are able to control your character again, there's no way back. Good luck if you missed or didn't understand something. If they fix the tutorials so that they're easier to understand and allow you to revisit them, then it would be better. For now, try, fail, repeat. That's how you learn.
