IGNORE THE PAY TO WIN REVIEWS IF YOU LIKE RUGBY AND WANT TO FIND A RUGBY MANAGER GAME! This game is a fantastic rugby management game, you can speed things up with tokens but you can build a team and compete without. Many people including myself do! Plus, if you do get hooked and want to go premium it's very reasonable at $7 AUD, 3.50 GBP or 4.5 USD a month. It's a game around managing your team with depth where you want it (skills, tactics, training, physios, academy searching for new players) but simple enough so there's no arduous boring bits and it doesn't feel overwhelming after a few days. There's a great discord community for questions and you can join a Union to have your own team of managers. Great game, give it a go for a week and rugby fans will be hooked.
Absolute ridiculous Mechanics in this game. Firstly the frequency of league matches is sped up so you play one or two a day, which is nice, but then injuries are exaggerated to the point where a player is out for 7 real life days because of a "bruised nose"?! You have no control over in-game subs being made and as a result you would have a Winger being replaced by a Prop or an 8th Man for example. They add BOT teams to your league when you start, but then they give the BOT teams ridiculous stats to the point where they destroy the top ranked (Player Managed} team and cause maximum injury to them. So what is the fun in that? The game plan can be "customised" yet even if you select NO KICKING WHATSOEVER to be done during the game (And no creative play) your team still end up kicking the ball away on several occasions most game. You can also disable pick and go and near to midfield drives yet, every single game half of the moves are pick and go near and midfield. The 3D game interface looks like something from Pentium 4 days and does not even reflect what is actually happening in the game. It is the absolute equivalent of watching stick men play tennis. Clearly the Devs of this game know very little about rugby. I wish I knew these things before buying premium. Will definitely not be supporting them any further.

This is a fun management game. Money and energy can't be bought, which is great for avoiding pay to win. The match engine is good., and player growth is fast and detailed enough to be interesting. Great control of match tactics. In a way I wish there was more to do everyday, but the there is a good balance of daily fun v time. Routine tasks can be delegated to an assistant if needed. The community on discord is very helpful. Not only do the developers respond to issues quickly, they respond to and implement suggestions quickly, which is something I have never seen before. Anyone into sports management or Rugby should give it a try.
There a stability issues with the linux version. Updates cause it to not load all the time.
