Warning: Third Party Account This game requires you to create a third party "GPRO" account... there's no valid reason for this in a PC game when SteamWorks is available. This is often done to harvest private data and profile you, with potential sale and transmission of your private data to third parties. The developers will probably argue that you can trust them, but if they were trustworthy they wouldn't demand you create a third party account. This represents a considerable risk to gamers due to the privacy and security implications of developers that wish to bypass Steam and harvest user data. Remember, sometimes if the product is free, YOU are the product.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app! This mobile app is not free, it's infested with a nasty mobile-style in-app cash shop. You will be expected to hand over cash to the "developers" just for playing the game.
"GPRO - Classic racing manager" is just one of thousands of non-free mobile apps polluting the "free" category on Steam, and it carries hidden, toxic monetization. At face value this looks like a sports management game but for F1 racing (without appropriate licenses or permissions from Formula-1 to create derivative works so hopefully they get sued), now, I'm not a fan but I know a lot of people are and that's okay, like what you like, but if you are a fan, you should still avoid this garbage because it's a mobile app cash shop wearing the skin of a game like something out of Silence of the Lambs. This is a purely superficial game experience designed for iPhones. The graphics and the mechanics are bottom-tier... imagine the gaudy, cheap plastic casing on the slot machines at the casino. That's what this is, a cheap flashy veneer on a shallow non-game with one single purpose... to get your money through nasty mobile app microtransactions. Ignoring that this is just a nasty predatory mobile app scam... at best, this is a garbage iPhone app. I didn't drop thousands on a high-end gaming rig just to pretend it's an iPhone, and I doubt you did either... this sort of trash has no business worsening your Steam library. This was made as an "Electron" container, which, if you're curious, is a web application bundled with a chromium browser to present the HTML/Java content that makes up the game... so basically this is a glorified web page that the developer has dumped on Steam. It was designed and intended for web browsers and mobile phones. It can't be considered a true PC game. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? I can't recommend this. I didn't have to pay for this, but I still feel ripped off.

Falsely accused me of having 2 accounts and then banned me. Admins are power tripping redditors. Don't waste your time.
Everything is locked behind a paywall and you have to use third party websites to even figure it out. If you're not a diehard Racing Team Management sim person, I'd skip this and not bother getting involved. You can play for free but it's tries REALLY hard to annoy you.

Logged in. Upgraded some stuff on my car. Then the game told me I had to wait TWO DAYS until any races happen. Lmao. Uninstalled.
Great game, but use the website. It's more about logistics and strategy than an actual 'game' (it's an autoracer) so using a website doesn't matter, and there are more options to look into. People complaining the game 'doesn't provide information' are obviously not ardent F1 fans, because if they were most of the settings are common sense. The game *does* provide enough information if you have any idea about fuel burn, tyres, suspension setup on differing tracks, and the most basic knowledge of aerodynamics. People complaining 'only a few games a week' don't understand that's the attraction - there is no pressure to play around with settings every millisecond like the current fad of all the twitch games... they are called seasons for a reason. I wonder if they would be more excited if it were magically possible to hold every single F1 race on the real world circuit held over a period of 60 continual hours instead of broken up over several months like it is now. I think the latter, because if the former they are the exact type to comment 'went on to long, became boring'
This is not a bad game but there are things that put me off. There are only 2 races every week, Tuesday and Fridays. I kept forgetting about the game. There is a help section but the game does not tell you which skill does what. It expects you - literally the wording in the help section - to experiment and find out. But you can only have 1 driver and with only 2 races every week, that experimentation would take years. Speaking of years, there are decade old veterans in the game, who compete in the Rookie leagues just for fun (or achievements). A new player does not stand a chance against them. They know exactly which car setting applies to every race. To be fair, the game tells you that this is a patience game. But life is short and I don't want to spend years just to figure out how to play a game properly.
Lovely complex managerial game. I love it. Nerdish though. Not for everyone.
