Interesting plot and nicely made. Still managed to enjoy it despite the fact that it took me less than an hour to beat the game. The puzzle are pretty simple and you don't actually need a guide to solve it because all the hints are right there. Overall 7.5/10 from me.

Не брать, одно разочарование
Black Island is a short free to play 2D point and click adventure game where you're on a little island and you need to solve some mysteries by pointing and clicking on various things, moving between mostly static 2D scenes, managing your inventory and so on. Like an Artifex Mundi hidden object game, but a bit more simplistic. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic low quality art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the mediocre 2D visuals. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes this is a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones. The game is completely free. This is noble a gesture that shows dedication to both gamers, and the gaming industry. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company that can make full use of their talents without needing to make budget/quality compromises. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, but not quite as good, I can't really give this one a thumbs up.
It was hard for me to give this a thumbs down. 1 hour of gameplay, and even then that's being generous. About half the game was video, the half that was gameplay was super simple puzzles. Honestly, at the pricepoint of "free" if you're determined to play it, by all means do, however for the rest of you, put your spare hour into a different game.
Nemastná neslaná point&click adventura se zajímavým, ale bohužel nedotaženým námětem. Navíc pro zkušenější hráče adventur velice jednoduchá a tím pádem krátká.
Crappy. Point and Click and not much to do. Except for one ridiculously impossible puzzle with pushing lights in a certain order which I could not do and therefore could not progress.
