Bionic Art — Played: 2.6h | Achievements: 24/24 | Steam Deck: Unknown

TL;DR: A sci-fi harem/dating VN with very sexy (but non-explicit) fanservice, strong comic-style visuals, and multiple routes/endings. Audio is weak, but the story surprised me (in a good way). Recommended.
Bionic Art is one of those “came for the spicy vibe, stayed for the actual story” kind of adult VNs. First, the mature side: it’s clearly erotic, but it’s not explicit. Think heavy suggestion: swimsuits, shower scenes, sexy poses, and a constant “almost there” tone—without going into full on-screen explicit content. If you want hardcore, this isn’t it. If you want seductive sci-fi harem energy, it delivers. Now the fun part: the setting. You’ve got a sci-fi backdrop with cyborgs/robots and that comic-book flavor. It’s not just an excuse for screenshots: there’s a real plot to follow, and it actually has some heart. The story/emotion side deserves credit, and the fact there are multiple scenarios/endings makes it feel more complete than the average “one-route-and-done” VN. Visually, it’s solid: comic style, sexy character designs, good presentation (4/5). Music and audio, though… yeah. It does its job but it’s the weakest point here (2/5). In short: if you like sci-fi + harem VN vibes with non-explicit fanservice and real branching, this is a good pick. What did I just play?
:)
I started to like it the more it went on; lots of different endings too (that I will be looking into getting as I continue)!
This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements in games and have this one in their backlog (minor spoilers ahead). Description: Bionic Heart is a sci-fi/futuristic visual novel where you have to pick dialogue options that will ultimately result in a different ending, and there’s a total of 24 in this game, and each will award you one achievement. I won’t spoil the details of the story, but I’ll just say that sometimes fan-service writing and illustrations take the focus away from the story itself, so I’d say the game is mostly targeted at teenagers. The illustrations look good, well drawn and colored, with the same style you would expect from a manga comic book, but expect unnecessary partial nudity in scenes where it seems out of place. The voice acting is okay in my opinion, with some characters sounding better than others. The only interactive elements are the dialogue choices. To avoid repeating the same parts lots of times I suggest making a different save file before every part where you need to make a choice and after you finish that story branch you can easily reload a save file and pick the other options. Achievements: How many: 24 Achievements. How much time: Around 2 hours, but time depends on how much of the text you read or skip. Game difficulty: Very Easy, it’s a visual novel with limited interactivity. Achievements’ Difficulty: Easy. To get all the endings you need to make some saves at key points and reload them to pick every available option. It’s not very hard but you need to pay attention or follow a guide. Overall opinion: Bionic Heart is an interesting visual novel with a lot of different endings but I think it has too much “fan service” in everything: story, dialogues and drawings that ends up being too distracting. Still, I enjoyed playing it.
