Bonus 5 was pretty hard Loved the game
Bibbidiba fan game is a small but energetic platforming experience created by shadow2810 and published through holo Indie, built as a tribute to the world and style inspired by Hoshimachi Suisei’s popular music. Instead of aiming for a massive adventure filled with complicated systems and dozens of mechanics, the game focuses on delivering a straightforward challenge centered around movement, speed, and playful action. The result is a compact experience that understands its purpose and commits to it completely, creating something that feels driven by enthusiasm rather than scale. At its core, the gameplay revolves around guiding Suisei through obstacle-filled stages that test precision and timing. Players jump across hazards, avoid dangers, and deal with enemies while racing toward stage completion. The controls are designed around accessibility, making it easy to understand the basics quickly while still leaving room for players to improve performance over time. The game emphasizes fluidity over complexity, encouraging momentum and consistent movement instead of forcing players into slow, methodical progression. One of the more distinctive elements comes from the unusual combat interaction that allows players to throw shoes at enemies and obstacles. While it initially sounds like a purely comedic feature, it ends up adding personality and strategic value to the gameplay. It helps the game stand apart from more traditional platformers while reinforcing its lighthearted atmosphere. Combined with environmental hazards and platforming sequences, it creates a gameplay rhythm that feels dynamic without becoming overwhelming. The stage design reinforces speed and quick decision-making. Players are not encouraged to carefully explore every corner but instead pushed toward maintaining flow and adapting to challenges on the fly. A timer system adds additional pressure, requiring players to stay focused while navigating hazards efficiently. Time-based mechanics can sometimes create frustration in platformers, but Bibbidiba fan game uses them effectively to strengthen its energetic identity. Every second matters, giving stages a satisfying sense of urgency that complements the game’s fast pacing. Visually, the presentation embraces bright colors and a cheerful atmosphere that align naturally with its inspiration. The environments prioritize clarity so that players can easily identify platforms, dangers, and movement opportunities without visual overload. The artistic style is not attempting technical realism or cinematic spectacle. Instead, it aims for charm and consistency, succeeding by delivering environments that feel lively and easy to engage with. The overall structure works particularly well because the developers avoid unnecessary feature bloat. Many smaller projects attempt to expand beyond their limitations, introducing mechanics that dilute focus rather than strengthen it. Bibbidiba fan game takes the opposite approach. It identifies what makes its concept enjoyable and concentrates entirely on refining those ideas. Platforming, movement, timing, and playful combat become the foundation of the experience, and the focused design philosophy gives the game a surprising amount of polish despite its relatively modest scope. Players looking for extensive progression systems, large amounts of unlockable content, or lengthy campaigns may find the experience somewhat limited. The game is designed more as an enjoyable burst of entertainment rather than a long-term commitment. However, that smaller scope ultimately works in its favor because it prevents the gameplay from overstaying its welcome. The short-form design allows the strengths to remain consistently enjoyable throughout the experience. What makes Bibbidiba fan game memorable is its sincerity. It feels like a project built by creators who genuinely wanted to celebrate material they appreciated while also creating something fun to play on its own merits. That enthusiasm carries through every aspect of the design, from its energetic pacing to its playful mechanics and vibrant presentation. For fans of platformers, arcade-style gameplay, or Hololive-inspired creations, Bibbidiba fan game offers an entertaining experience that succeeds through focus rather than ambition. It may not reinvent the genre or introduce groundbreaking mechanics, but it delivers enjoyable movement-based gameplay with enough personality to stand out among smaller indie releases. Rating: 7/10

Beautiful and bouncy, it brings a smile to my face ! Very short and with crappy sound effect, though.
"Bibbidiba fan game" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This is a garbage tier GameMaker Studio copy + paste platformer where the gameplay still somehow manages to be worse than the plot... the plot itself is just a quasi-authorized derivative fan-fiction work of the Hololive V-tuber franchise (V-tubers, if you don't know, are middle aged men who pretend to be little anime girls on the internet, and the other middle aged men who simp over them... yeah, I know, it's bad). Take on the role of someone else's imaginary online anime persona and do some really badly done pixelcrap platforming. Or don't. The platforming genre is pretty much obsolete... just a tiny number of professionally developed platformers exist on PC and offer any real value or interest to gamers (Silksong, etc). This is nowhere near being as good as Hollow Knight or Silksong. Even without a price tag, it's easy to see why gamers ignored this in favor of modern, professionally developed 3D games. This is offering nothing new or interesting, so it's easy to see why this failed. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. It's unclear why this never made it to the video game console appliances it seems to have been designed for. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This was made with the godawful "GameMaker Studio" construction kit/toolset, which is popular amongst amateur developers because it handholds you through making really crap 2D games that you can publish for $100 on Steam Direct. This lets you pat yourself on the back for pretending to be a real game developer, which explains why GameMaker Studio is responsible for so much ignored garbage on Steam. GameMaker Studio has never really been used to make a truly successful game, but that doesn't stop people from trying and failing. It's a particularly bad game engine that can only be used for making low quality 2D products. Like this. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, as the old saying goes. Another reason this particular game wasn't successful. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? I can't recommend this. It may not be the worst thing on Steam but it's far from the best, and PC gamers have far better options for spending their time. Remember what I often say... if you don't agree with what I've said about this game, by all means add it to your library and play it. My review is just here to inform your decision, and if you think I was wrong and you downloaded the game, then I've done what I really wanted to do... inform your decision.

A lot of love was put into this, well happy to have played it. Can be challenging at times, I mean it literally says so in the description, but its not impossible to complete. Sad to see some negative reviews, certainly not warranted in my opinion but you can't please everyone. I enjoyed my time playing that's for sure! Amazing for a free game. Good work!
