Well polished. A bit short - I'd recommend it if you can get it on sale. Consider it an appetiser for the next instalment. Note: You lie on the floor at two points and it adds a surprising amount to the immersion!
Super immersive experience, super polished! Def recommend this game :)
I am so sorry that I bought “Memories beyond a Coral Sea” for half a price on the spring sale. I feel as if I paid unfair because this game must cost much more. Before that, the game had been in my Wishlist more than a year. Only because they showed teleporting system instead of ordinary movement with a joystick. I thought that the game itself must be so archaic that it even doesn’t worth buying. However, in a discussion I noticed that they added normal way of movement and that encouraged me to give it a chance. What a pleasant surprise I got! From the very beginning I noticed that this game has been made with love. I have never seen such attention to details like the authors paid to “Memories…” The beautiful start menu where you have to write with a quill is very unusual. The whole graphics is overwhelmingly good. I even felt how hot it was on the tropical island and spent a couple of minutes sitting in a shadow of a palm, getting rest and looking around. Unlike “The Bootstrap Island” this game has a polished plot. You don’t have to survive. It is rather a meditative quest. There is a good literature background and a set of interesting tasks to do. All the time when you accomplish one you feel very smart and new beautiful landscapes come as a reward. As for quests themselves, they are clever, not that simple annoying type of “use object A in the way B” but also not too difficult. There seem to be some compulsory ones, but many others are just enriching the game process. “Memories…” have got a range of new approaches. For example, when you fall asleep or die you have to lay on the floor physically. It brings a lot of immersion. I love that the main character speaks to himself and to a hermit crab (if you catch one). I love the memories. I love the way they provided to use inventory. And above all the game process itself. Movement from island to island, finding the way how to reach the next point, fish in the turquoise water, seagulls, day and night all that live deep impression. The only one drawback is that game is still under development. It doesn’t have the end. You collect plenty of items which might be used later, but the later part is not ready yet. I wish that the next part will be the same beautiful as the beginning. The ship on the horizon seems to be abandoned and gloomy, still I would like to see other tropical islands, water, sand, palms and a lot of sunshine. Dear developers, thank you for this game, it is absolutely unique and outstanding!

Хорошая, красивая, но короткая игра. Жаль, но даже субтитров нет.

If you have Index controlers, setup Grip Press command on Grip Touch action and enjoy game.
A recomend for people who likes chill experiences and atmosphere! Beautiful! has a bit of adventure gameplay to. Note, You need a big play area since you have to lie down
Okay so I did enjoy this experience and I do recommend it. However this is not for everybody. This game works best with room scale and you may want some room to lay down. at least once or twice. The visuals and sound are excellent. The game play is where a lot of people won't make it passed 15 min of playing. Couple of things: Controls are a little frustrating. The options to change them are very minimal. I almost jumped myself off a cliff more than once because of the controls. I'm very confused but the control choice by the devs based on what you have to do in this game but oh well. A more refined control scheme could make this a way more enjoyable experience for many people. For example, you can make your right stick smooth or snap turn. This is great! HOWEVER the right stick will still teleport walk/jump you if you move your stick too far! That's my biggest gripe with the controls. I'm using index controllers and I found it very frustrating at times to turn my character with the right stick because most of the time I would just teleport myself in the direction. Another thing that might turn some people off is the game tells you almost nothing. There are some subtle hints but I can see a lot of players getting frustrated and giving up. The beginning before the game even "starts" is a little puzzle in itself lol Again I DO recommend this game but take into account those things I mentioned above whether or not you wanna give it a go. It IS incredibly cheap so if you wanna throw a few bucks at the devs it's definitely worth the try.
Highy recommended! A small adventure with puzzle elements, aha-moments and meny LOL's. Also poetic and thoughtful. A calming inner voice guides you exacltly when you need it the most - and also when you don't need it at all. Ha ha... Love this game!
