Bendy: Secrets of the Machine

It's nice that there's a teaser game for the upcoming Bendy projects, but it just wasn't for me. It leans heavily into a horror atmosphere and confusing puzzles, like so many other horror games. To me, what made the previous Bendy games special was their creepy cartoon world full of charm (which is missing from this teaser), memorable characters, and social commentary, all wrapped in a strong BioShock-like vibe. I'm still looking forward to the next Bendy games, but this teaser didn't do much to increase my excitement. Personally, I really hope the upcoming games will bring back more of that charm and rely less on confusing and frustrating puzzles.
