I've just played a few tracks off Beat Arena and despite the huge accessibility issue and major stuttering I've had (which I think because of my setup with Virtual Desktop) I would recommend this game to those who really like Bemani or just wanted a Bemani experience within a premium budget. This game interestingly opt out from western licensed music (unlike most western localization) and instead listed a handful and popular bemani music from both pop'n music, and gitadora. The music is limited, but I found some of my most favorite classics are listed. The gameplay itself is pretty basic, but works well with VR. The drums being the most obvious is kind of clunky since the virtual drum is huge and you can't really adjust the size of it. The guitar and bass is straightforward enough, use your dominant hand to strum and your non-dominant hand on the neck. It's straightforward enough and once you got the gesture, it's actually the most fun (apart from way too many vibration happening) I haven't tried other instrument yet, but I assume it's mostly simplified version of the actual instrument but made it fun to play. Two major downside however is the music sync and performance. Again I'm not sure if its because of my setup, but some music played have some sync problem where the instrument would play ahead of its vocal or some instrument would lag behind your own instrument. The other issue would be performance where the game would lock up sometimes and actually stutter so bad that it hurts. Steam VR thankfully would restore view to the Steam VR view but if you can't handle it, it's pretty bad from time to time. In case you wonder my spec is a R9-5900x, RTX3080, and 64gb RAM. It's a workstation basically but it suffers from these performance issue. One minor downside would be the gesture and UI camera being way too close sometimes, it's also unclear sometimes as to what to do within certain situation. These however are something you could get used to from time to time. Overall, again I'm recommending it for Bemani fans, if you just want a basic rhythm game maybe look elsewhere, but if you still like this anime heavy aesthethic, you might get yourself converted to liking the Bemani lineup.
BEFORE YOU BUY: If you have an Oculus Rift (seems more common with Rift S), there's a weird bug that either has just a black screen or song menu doesn't pop up. This probably wouldn't be an issue if you buy from the Oculus store but I don't feel like dropping $30 to test this yet lol. tldr: Customizable anime avatars with lots of super fun charts and songs from Bemani arcade games but game feels very rough especially on Oculus via Steam. I got this cause any Konami music and rhythm game will come with a bunch of great songs from their previous arcade games and while I'm not too surprised, Murmur Twins is still super fun and amazing to play. Some good points: While the tutorial feels kinda slow, largely cause it's the same tutorial song that has all the keysounds on every instrument laughably offbeat, it goes by relatively quick and progresses you in Campaign Mode. You can go straight to Free Mode, and every song (from the looks of it) is available for Casual/Advanced modes. You can customize your avatar a fair amount and can see your avatar's body backstage and in-game. There's also settings that let you adjust the height of your instruments but you can't change that until after you finish the tutorials and you're allowed to freely move around backstage. The game does a slight view alignment every time you're about to play which helps mainly when you're playing drums, but sometimes can throw you off if you're playing Guitar or Bass. Now the bad: I mentioned some Rift S players can't get the menu to show up and what's irritating as there's nothing mapped to your controller to open it (at least not on the Oculus) so it's really 50/50 if you get to enjoy the game or just stand in backstage watching NPC avatars faze in and out all day. Maybe it's just me, but playing drums in this game is really off. There's no metronome that plays but instead hihats will play to help you stay on beat except the hihat wont be consistent so it'll sound fine at first, then just go off and you just have to rely on counting yourself and try to ignore it. There's no way to pause in-game (Oculus). It looks like it's co-op similar to Rock Band but you just play either with standard NPCs or use your friend's or random player's playdata. So sadly, this is only a singleplayer game and I doubt that'll change. Conclusion: Most rhythm and games on VR is typically $30 and you get a fair amount of songs to play. I recommend it if you're looking for more music games to play in VR but mostly if you have an Index or HTC. It does work for Oculus, but it's very 50/50.
왜 실시간 멀티가 없냐? 멀티 없는 밴드라니, 장난치냐?
I really enjoy this game it's really fun feel like I am really in stages almost all the instrument work pretty well. on sometimes feel like the music dose not match with the rhythm.

노래는좋네
I like this game a lot. Who knew!?!? The worst thing about it is none of the instrument playing matches what the instrument is playing in the song. But it's more of an arcade game. Once you accept that and just play the game like it wants you to then it starts to become fun, challenging, and competitive. There's about 50 songs to unlock. The unlocking is what keeps you coming back. You unlock clothes and can customise your avatar which can be seen by the community when you upload your play data. So there's a bit of a flex factor that makes it addictive. I would also point out that the negative reviews are people comparing it to Konami's other rhythm games. Compared to other VR rhythm games this is actually pretty good like an 7-8/10.
