Pretty good overall, the concept and art style were great, controls could be more tight. Totally worth it for these few bucks.

Was disappointed, but its not terrible. The platforming is slippery and the guy falls too fast from the air. Hitboxes can be wonky at times. Also the beard ledge grab is awful and super inconsistent, and trying to chain them together or jump and grab one from the side is terrible. The game has a decent Shantai style look and cute music. Its relatively short, and although I did encounter multiple bugs leading to level restarts, the game works fine most of the time. Combat is pretty boring as you just spam a single attack, and theres not much more to it. Bosses are pretty gimmicky Theres a shop but for some reason everything costs so much after you upgrade attack and health once you'll never get the stuff anyways. Its just a mediocre platformer. Not as bad as some say, but you can do worse. 6.5/10.

One of the best platformers I've played in a long time. The graphics and music are also phenomenal. It reminds me of when I played SNES as a kid. GREAT game and I'll be a little sad when I clear it.

Un jeu qui peut rappeller un peu super mario world, mais il va beaucoup plus loin dans la comparaison. Les actions du joueur , lever design des niveaux, et des boss avec des patterns tout le temps different. Un très bon jeu ! je le conseille.

Simple and engaging 2d platformer. (+) beautiful pixel art (+) so mane Easter eggs / homage to classic 2d platforms (+) simple but engaging platforming gameplay (0) controls really well but at the same time some actions feel kinda sluggish or inconsistent (0) sound was... Ok? (-) really really short focused on speedruns (-) UI and options need some work to properly inform the player

Great platform game, sad that it's not popular at all. Can describe this as classic old-school platformer experience. There are only minor cons: - day/night is basicly different levels, don't get why day/night logic was applied to that game; - magnet powerup looks mostly useless as it won't magnet from chests and better coins; - no ps5 controller support (solved by steam input); - no achievements (can be a great addition to the game).

Solo he jugado unos minutos, pero me ha bastado ese breve tiempo para quedarme completamente sorprendido. Este juego es una auténtica joya oculta dentro del catálogo de Steam. Desde el primer momento, transmite una energía especial: una mezcla de nostalgia, creatividad y mimo por los detalles que no se ve todos los días. La variedad de situaciones que propone es impresionante. Escalas árboles, saltas entre plataformas, buceas en escenarios subacuáticos, montas en vagonetas, golpeas enemigos con precisión… Cada mecánica está bien integrada y aporta dinamismo al conjunto. No se siente repetitivo en ningún momento, y eso es algo que valoro muchísimo en un juego de plataformas. Los gráficos en pixel art son una delicia. Cada escenario está cuidadosamente diseñado, con una paleta de colores que evoca los clásicos de los 90 pero con un toque moderno que lo hace destacar. Se nota que hay cariño detrás de cada sprite, cada animación, cada fondo. Es arte retro en movimiento. La banda sonora acompaña de forma excelente. No solo ambienta, sino que refuerza la emoción de cada momento. Hay temas que te relajan, otros que te ponen en tensión, y todos están bien sincronizados con la acción. Es uno de esos juegos donde te sorprendes tarareando la música incluso después de cerrar la partida. Lo acabo de probar y, sinceramente, me he quedado totalmente impresionado. Me alegro muchísimo de haber invertido mi dinero en este título. Es una compra que no solo satisface, sino que deja con ganas de seguir explorando cada rincón del juego. Se nota que está hecho con pasión y respeto por el género. Quiero felicitar sinceramente a los desarrolladores. Les deseo todo el éxito del mundo con este proyecto, porque se lo merecen. Han creado algo especial, algo que conecta con quienes amamos los videojuegos retro, pero también con quienes buscan experiencias frescas y bien ejecutadas.

This was a solid platform puzzler. I had fun playing it. It wasn't anything super ground breaking but it has good level design and fun upgrades. My only complaint was every so often it felt like it was eating my inputs but for the most part it worked as expected. Also, not a complaint but the day/night cycle didn't really add much to the game other than flavor for alternate levels. Very little of the level was the same in each case. It would have meant more to the game if the mechanics changed slightly between day and night and if some of the same core path was used but differently. Still I enjoyed the alternate versions of the levels and there were only a few places I felt like it was unreasonably difficult to get through and that was generally due to the issue of lost inputs I mentioned earlier.
