Looked potentially fun and wasn't expensive at all. However, whenever I try to host a server, it says it's creating it and then it just puts me back into main menu, which is ridiculous. Not playable at all.

Game gets stuck on "Collecting Database Information" right after starting game up. Dev claimed he fixed it back in 2024, but apparently not. Unless there's an actual fix for this issue, I'm not going to recommend this game. Which is a real shame, because it actually looks fun.

Battlerace clearly takes inspiration from Call of Duty and Battlefield. The gameplay has, Satisfying shooting, smooth movement and large maps that allow flanking. The game survives thanks to its AI. The problem… they’re all you have. There's no active community. Completely empty matches. A constant feeling of abandonment. It’s a battlefield without players. It’s usually very cheap. And for the price, it's ok. With friends, it could be addictive. Alone… it’s a much colder experience. Recommended… only if you’re okay fighting bots in a game that desperately needs a real community.
