Brought this because I miss the old days of playing large scales maps with bots like in the good old BF2 days I'm too old to play online FPS these days with all the young people. I convinced myself that this would be 'most like' that era of BF I miss so much, I read up on a few things here and there to further solidify myself that maybe this could be great and for $6 whats to lose? I would rather have the $6 back this game sucks.

I frankly had quite a bit of fun playing BF 2042 near launch after most of the bugs were fixed and in the years to follow. I actually don't believe this is super far behind BF 6 as the near future setting gives it some more flavor, although BF 6 may have handled destruction better. If this is greatly on sale, I recommend picking it up.

Games beyond dead. 90% of NA lobbies are 80%+ bots. I wanted to get into this game with how bad bf6 is at the moment. The maps look promising but the games ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead. Play a match, get booted for "inactivity"(even though im moving), re-search, takes 10 minutes, plopped into a game where top guy is 50-4 but everyone else had 8-9 kills and I noticed every player had "ai" next to their profiles. Doesnt help there 2 multiplayer modes to choose from and 1 of which is dead dead.
