Obviously not the best Battlefield game, but definitely not the worst. I understand the hate and controversies the game has undergone, but from my experience so far, its not that bad for a Battlefield game. Yes a lot of the cosmetics are paid and can be very expensive, but you can't really expect them to be cheap nowadays. Most games sell expensive cosmetics, so you cant really blame EA/DICE. The gunplay and tactical aspects are decently balanced and polished, I love the gun customization, especially where you can attach multiple variants of the same attachment at once, though its not as a good and polished as COD games, its still really cool and fun to play with, especially for someone like me whose only ever played BF1 and BF5 (counting only BF franchise). In other words, if you haven't tried the game and are hesitant because of what people have said, honestly, I would personally say just try it out and see if it's for you. I was in this state too before I tried it out. And anyways, if you don't really like it, Steam's refund feature is there for a reason, and l40 - 60 minutes is more than enough time to get the feel of the game.
