wish it was more optimized for old gpu's its good game
BF2042 is a lot better than it has any right to be, but the player base isn’t there. Lobbies aren’t completely dead, but unless it’s peak hours, half of the lobby will likely be bots and if it’s graveyard hours, there won’t be enough real players to even start a match. Playing against bots isn’t un-fun per say, but it gets boring very quickly so limits the amount of hours you can pump into the game. The gun-play is very fluid, the vehicles are well balanced, and the maps are either fun to play, interesting conceptually, or both. Gun-play is far closer to call of duty since there aren't any accuracy penalties for movement, but it still feels like a battlefield game since the map design and vehicles stick close to the battlefield formula and result in a good balance between the two. Easy to recommend since on sale BF2042 costs practically nothing, but it’s not going to hook you.

I come with regret after going for 100% in all Battlefields. Out of all i've done so far this is by a long shot the worst one.
