A free match 3 game ported to PC from mobile

What this game is
This is a match 3 free game that was ported from mobile phone. It provides you with play on a pathway with 60 levels, and some gates where bosses await you. The threadbare storyline says that you battling evil, and for that you have an assortment of troops, some of which are available by default, and some that are unlocked once you proceed to unlock them.
How it works
You have to match a minimum of three symbols to get troops of a given type. The symbols you remove are replenished gradually by some other random symbols, and your objective is to get the best troops you can, trying to have the longest chain possible because you get then more troops in one go. At the end of each success or try you get some gold that allow you to upgrade your troops (even if you fail you can get some gold). You may accumulate up to three stars for each level, in relation with your accomplishments in the game. These stars do not bring any benefits though. The progression yields basically the following results: Match 3 = remove 3 linear symbols = one troop type. Match 4 = remove 4 linear symbols = two troops of the same type. Match 5 = remove 5 linear symbols = four troops of the same type. You can match symbols in T and L shape to get three troops of the same type.
Verdict
THE GOOD: (i) it is FREE and does what it is supposed to do without a glitch, (ii) it has a storyline of sorts, (iii) it progresses slowly and is easy to learn and easy to play, (iv) it has Steam Achievements, (v) it doesn't need much resources and space, it can play on a 10 year old PC and requires less than 200 Mb on your HD. THE BAD: (a) it is a port from mobile phone playing and it shows BIG TIME as you will have to play as if you were playing on a mobile... Screen resolution and format cannot be changed which is very annoying, (b) the interface is clunky, you don't even have a quit button in order to exit the game. The only solution I found was to go back to the introduction screen and then close the window manually by clicking the corner "X", (c) Achievements will unlock only when you exit the game, but not consistently. Sometimes I had to reopen the game and briefly play in order to get the achievements that had been unlocked previously. (d) Level 50 is buggy. You may win and get three stars, but the game will not register it, and you will be stuck at two stars. (e) It does not have Steam Trading Cards. TLDR: Ok, but no great, and with issues that should not be there. As the game is FREE, it is difficult to complain as it works decently and will provide you with a few hours of entertainment. For what it is, I can recommend it.

I love the fast paced turn game in a wave style unstopped!!!
TLDR: It's a free mobile game on steam. But it does have some enjoyment. Can recommend. PROS: It's free. Basic match 3 game type. A small variety of units adds interest. CONS: It's a mobile game on PC. Not enough units overall to maintain interest. Some of the map/puzzle designs are just annoying. Summary: Add this to your collection of free idle clicker auto battle games that you may turn on when you only have an hour or less to play.
cant believe i collected all the achievements in a mobile game
Неплохо
This is fun, if a little frustrating at times in certain stages (looking at you stage 33), and involves a wild mix of grinding up your units, some tactful and cheeky cheesy strategy tricks. Personally I became obsess with getting three stars on every stage. Nice little time waster when bored or something with some brain twisting puzzles. Looking forward to any expansions beyond this.
This game is sick.
Considering the game has said "Coming Soon" for the last 10 years, and no posts by the Dev, I'd say even though it is a cool game, YFC Games is a developer to be avoided.
