After the beta was finished, and this game launched officially on Steam and IOS i figured the game was ready to go. I started playing, spending money thinking it was fair game. You are a commander in this game, and you control your army around a map of Earth. And aside from your army, your control order your Avatar, who can be leveled up and be given items for battle/production/defensive boosts. This Avatar, fights alongside your army. The enemy team exploited an Avatar bug, thus yielding them LVL80- Avatars. While my team had LVL2-8 avatars unaware of the Avatar bug/exploit. Me and my team spent money, and it a fair fight with the enemy army (about equal amount of squads) we were destroyed lol. We analyzed battle report and couldnt figure out why. I asked Admin, and was told about said bug. So Admins knew about the bug, and did nothing to fix it. And only a certain amount of players knew of this bug. Admin gave us a "oh well, that sucks" response. Did not offer to correct mistake, refund red tokens (you buy red tokens and use red tokens to boost more resources) or even refund resources. If I knew this was not an even playing field, I would have never spent money on the game. I asked 2 Admins about refund, neither responded. And now they are patching the bug to cap the Avatar level to 15. Admins knew of this bug, and did nothing to fix or even notify the general public about it. I scoured the game itself and every corner of the game's discord. I found nothing regarding this bug. I asked around, many didn't know about this bug, and those who did refused to abuse it outside of the beta and Simulation worlds (essentially worlds to learn the game at a quick pace) in fears of being banned. I know the enemy team were all close buddies and friends, i doubt its favoritism, I hope its not, but it sure feels like it.

Poorly optimized game, constant crashing and won't refund any in store purchases so now I can't recover my funds. Do not waste your time playing this terrible reskin of our childhood memory BattleDawn. This isn't it. Don't support them with donation or red gems, you won't be able to play and won't be able to refund. 0/5 Review
So I think there's a fair amount to like about the ideas behind this game. Unfortunately the game itself seems poorly executed. The game is extremely unstable, even when the servers are up you're constantly having to retry to join the game because you'll get errors after errors when trying to join. I didn't play the original so I decided to give this one a try but at this point I've failed to log in over a dozen times and only successfully played a tiny bit of the game. When the entire premise is that the game is live and you can get attacked even when you're not playing not being able to log in kinda sucks, really soured me on the experience.
Табличка при входе в Battle Dawn 2: Terra Reborn: "No connection. You must have internet access in order to play Battledawn 2. Please verify your connection."
it's very still gate trap by its own veterans so don't bother coming back to this game.
Having played Battle Dawn for 10+ years, it was nice to see a sequel to a game that I met lots of friends on, and that I spent countless hours playing. This is by far my favourite strategy game that I have ever played. Battle Dawn 2 has some nice new mechanics and changes to the original Battle Dawn. Some of these include: - Metal/oil trees, eye (map objectives) - squad delegation - avatars (while this is not perfect, the concept is a good one) - a functioning mobile app, so I can play on the go - changes to spies and nukes which parts of I like - increased amount of garrisons That being said, the game still has a long way to go. BD2 is a lot slower than the original game, it is harder to expand, and there is less incentive to conquer the world, and more incentive to sit and hive up. Some elements of the game are clunky, graphics aren’t the best (some items are hard to distinguish), unit names are childish, UI is not the most user friendly & hard to operate in some cases, oil is super hard to come by if you’re not a booster and servers are not totally stable as yet (but for two weeks in, fairly impressive) I will note the devs appear to be very proactive, with downtime after a week already being drastically reduced. Future updates are likely to at least partially fix these dislikes I have for the game so far. The discord is a great place to hang out and chat to people. The staff are always open to new ideas and criticism.
The game has good potential. However, they GATO staff run their discord like a tyranny. You are unable to voice displeasure after multiple attempts at seeking information about the state of the game. They could obviously made an announcement in their discord for all to see about no updates at the moment or posted it on the forum. Admins of the game on a power trip for a low player bases. Please make BD great again. PS - BDEA would have been a better version to fix.
Look how they massacred my boy
If you think you have what it takes to match wits with players from around the world in a 24/7 Risk game with no dice rolls and even more back stabbing then this is for you! I am a player of BD1 and though the game still has some bugs and balancing issues, its certainly has a lot of promise. The mobile app is a life saver and really makes managing your colony when you are away from your computer easier than ever! But I don't recommend Mobile only gameplay. This is not a game for the light hearted. I highly recommend anyone attempting to join this community, reach out and make a friend ASAP! There are lots of tactics you need to be aware of before spending money, otherwise, your money will just be wasted as you die. That being said, its entirely possibly to win at this game without spending a dime! I've done it and I know others have. The key is friends and Activity! If you don't have BOTH you will lose, regardless of your spending ability. Looking forward to the changes the Dev team have in store!
