Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 11 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
It has been 10 years since the 'Barrow Hill Incident', a terrible, unsolved mystery, when several people lost their lives to the force inside the hill. No-one knows what really happened, except you. Something to do with the ancient standing stones, the old Druid Circle. It was built by pagans, millennia ago, for purposes that we can only guess at. Until now.
It is the Autumn Equinox, when day and night are equal, exactly as they were a decade ago. You have returned to the scene of the crime, seeking answers. Could such an event happen again? What trials and offerings await? As you leave the car behind, and step into the dark world of the old woods, you wonder whether you seek the truth, or you are following the Dark Path.
Joining you on your adventure, once again, is kooky amateur late-night DJ Emma Harry. She is worried for her teenage friend, Mia, who has been behaving suspiciously. Emma has heard rumours of rituals, ceremonies and Devil Worship near the old Barrow Hill Service Station. Could Mia be involved? She may have good reason, Mia's brother Ben was among the missing 10 years ago. Is time repeating itself?

I didn’t realise that this was a point and click style game. Not a genre I usually play but one I’ve been wanting to try again. Unfortunately this game has a ton of old school Jank and frustrating bugs. There was a game breaking bug with a sound that I couldn’t identify, it turns out it’s a phone ringing but initially clicking on it did nothing. Upon reloading I was able to answer it. There was also no information or way to tell that it was a phone ringing. Also couldn’t get items to interact or maybe I was not thinking hard enough but trying to click hand towels on a mossy stump and nothing happened. This could be a steam deck issue but it does seem like there’s a lot of bugs The voice acting is also charmingly bad but a bit annoying as you have to listen to long unskippable exposition. I think I will try to get back into point and clicks with a less janky title

I'd give this game a 5/10, so a marginal thumps-up. The story is ok, but kinda generic and predictable, but sometimes it's difficult to know exactly what to do next as the hints are often buried deep in pages of books etc and easy to miss. Also, some of the puzzles were solved a bit randomly. The atmosphere isn't bad and the sounds and music lend it a degree of creepiness. Given the game was made in 2016, it has a very old-school feel to it. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but the fixed resolution of 1024x768 is annoying as creates a small viewing window on a modern monitor. And the flip-screen navigation is clunky by modern standards and makes it difficult to work out exactly where you are - especially in the woods. In terms of game development, it hasn't really moved on from the original Barrow Hill game. That said, if you enjoyed the original Barrow Hill and you can get this at a deep discount, then it's worth a play.
Good game but the first one was more rounded and immersive.
Edit : my mistake : I didn't realize this was caused by the phone ringing ... Playing in windowed mode on Windows 10, I end up on screens without navigation arrows or clickable areas. So, sadly, unplayable. Negatives : Navigating this game is confusing & I find the ringing phone quite disruptive. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do & I spend most of my time walking around ... Positives : Beautiful renders, interesting setting & story.
A painful slog filled with cringe-inducing video clips and about 30 unskippable, expository phone calls that serve very little purpose, culminating in the appeasement of a vengeful "nature spirit", "protector of the green" with ramen noodles in a plastic cup and a cheap trinket from Celtic-themed Claire's.

Great follow up to the original game. Play the first one first. If you liked it, you will like this one.
