buen juego, un poco troll y dificil entender los pusles pero ese es su encanto
Fun, moderately tricky but well paced little puzzle-platformer, with some very obvious inspiration from the old Rick Dangerous games. A bit of trial-and-error is need for some puzzles, but respawning is quick and checkpoints are fairly frequent. (I had to play outside Steam owing to some technical issues I had - I've finished the game in about 1 hour with 3/5 optional gems)
Baezult 2, like it's predecessor, is a puzzle platformer inspired by Indiana Jones, pitfalling and tomb raiding. The game is divided in 5 distinct areas, all of which have a secret collectible, needed in order to get 100% completion. The platforming can be frustrating at times, requiring precise timing and repetition. There are traps you can not avoid, and the only way to proceed is to memorize their locations. Puzzles are, in most part, intuitive an fun to do. There was only 1 puzzle in the entire game I found sort of hard, it was in the 4th area and was optional to get the collectible, but, after I solved it, it seemed pretty obvious. Controls require some getting used to, like jumping and then pressing the desired direction when in a tight space between some spikes, and the ladder climbing speed, which is a lot faster than your walking speed. Otherwise, once you get the hang of it, controlling your tiny dungeon robber is responsive enough.
Жаль без ачивок((( Хорошая переработка первой части, но если зимой2023 будет 99% скидос - обязательно берите на вечерок - другой поиграть норм))
It was a fun game. It took a little over 2 hours to finish. I am generally not great at these puzzle-type games, so I'm guessing someone who is could finish it much quicker. It said I died 299 times and had 1 of 5 crystals. I never even saw a crystal until the end of the last level, so I missed them somehow. It is very trial-and-error. There are long sequences that have to be done exactly right and there's no way to know what "right" is until you die or get stuck and suicide, then redo the whole sequence again. One of the sequences took me about 40 tries. Another took almost that many. There are checkpoints at the beginning of each sequence. The last section is an
escape sequence that requires precise timing and jumps while water is rising.
Baezult 2 is a nice little retro platformer with improved graphics, game play and music. It's worth playing especially with the discount.
Simple lil' puzzle platformer. Little jarring at first seeing a block get blown up and it flies... Toward the explosion? But I get it; Puzzles. Game only took me like 70 minutes (not 100%), with me being stuck on a not-that-difficult puzzle for like 35 minutes (I am not an intelligent man), but it has got some serious speedrun potential! I think a dedicated player could get the time below 10 minutes. Would be nice if it showed gamepad controls (Guessing what the keyboard inputs map to wasn't hard, but was inconvenient), or had an option to rebind them, but not bad. (Note: The game does weirdly run out of memory and crash if you retry 10 or so times. This can happen mid-run, so speedrunners beware)
As another reviewer has noted this owes a lot to the Rick Dangerous puzzle platformer games. It could do with a little more variety but works well enough. It has a tendency to pressurise the player at key points so if you are ok with that it might be for you. Or you could check out Rick Dangerous. Recommended but only on sale.
