Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 2 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Theres some bugs that need to be fixed but overall its really good!
Game is fun with friends but there’s a lot of annoying bugs right now. - Toolboxes duplicate when opening them - You can randomly get stuck under cars - Tickets duplicate when picking them up - Flashlights take forever to turn on if you have high ping - The spider monster literally can't kill you if you're standing above it on basically any elevation Also the spider map just isn't that fun honestly. It's way too big and most of the time you’re just running around a massive parking lot trying to find tickets. It starts feeling more tedious than scary after awhile. The game has a good concept and some genuinely fun moments, it just needs a lot more polish.

Definitely recommend for any Backrooms lovers
I love the backrooms, the liminal environments are a great experience. However, I am so tired of every backrooms game being the exact same thing. Every single Backrooms thing now is based off of Kane Pixels video instead of the original concept of the backrooms, every game has the same levels, the core 9 of 0-8. Level 37, 188, Run, The End, etc. And while this game does have some levels I've yet to see in a Backrooms game there are hundreds of other levels out there for people to try and use and nobody uses them. The backrooms wiki has so many eerie levels and you could even go out and find liminal spaces irl. Not every game needs to be run around, avoid annoying gremlins, solve strange puzzles in order to make the next level. From what I can tell this is the devs first game and I can respect that, it takes a lot of effort to do these things and from the 4 levels I played it was really well done, But it's just the same thing as most other backrooms games. I appreciate the people who make the effort to make a game based off a cool concept but when its all the same the spark starts to die off. Besides the fact we spent 40 mins in the the first 3 levels and well over an hour in the 4th not being able to find the small key, this game is well made and needs a few tweaks here and there. I apologize for the rant and hope to see what improvement this game can achieve.
"Backrooms - Lost Unit" ist ein wirklich gutes Backrooms‑Spiel. Wir hatten unglaublich viel Spaß damit und freuen uns jetzt schon auf die kommenden Level :) Gerne mehr davon!
My mate and I had a blast playing this game! I really recommend it!
The game looks like it has potential but in it's current state as of writing this review it is just not yet ready, even for early access. Needs a lot of polish, especially bug fixes. - Graphics are pretty good. Monsters models are great and actually look scary. - Audio is not good. Sounds are annoying and some monsters make sounds someone made with their mouth. - Checkpoints are made on every completed objective which is good. You don't lose much progress when dying. - Sanity mechanic is annoying. Sanity seems to drain too fast and there just aren't enough items for all 4 players to keep their sanity up. Items don't recharge you to full. If you lose sanity you die, so it's basically just a death timer. This isn't really a good mechanic (regardless if every backrooms game has it). Would be better if it instead just gave you debuffs like blurred vision or hallucinations. I might come back to this game in the future after it has received some polish. It has potential to be a great backrooms game. But at it's current state, it's just not at a level of quality that I'd expect on a game on Steam, even for an early access one. Bugs that I've experienced in under an hour of playing: - When hosting a game and inviting people, it crashes randomly, after about 30-40 seconds. We had to all join quickly and start the game before it crashes. - Parking level, when hiding under a car I got stuck there and could not get out. You're supposed to be able to get out by pressing interact but it simply didn't work for me. - At the very beginning after a cutscene of some guy being put inside a MRI and a monster spawning, it spawned on top of one of the players and instantly killed them. - When either of us die, we just get a black screen. You have white squares at the left and right side of the screen to move to next/previous player. But since they are just squares and not actual arrows, it took us a while to figure out what they do. Not sure if it was a graphical issue in displaying the icon or if it actually has no icon. - The spectate previous button did not work for me. I moved to spectate the last player in the list and after he died I was stuck watching his corpse where clicking the previous did nothing. - One time when I died I lost the cursor on the spectate screen and could not move to next player, again being forced to watch my corpse. - Another time while dead, pressing ESC did not bring up the menu and I could not restart from checkpoint. On the bottom of the screen there is a "Back to menu" text. Clicking this instantly kills the lobby for everyone, without any confirmation dialog or anything. This is when we just gave up on playing further.
Wow. Buggy as hell and could only make it 2 minutes before crashing. All 3 people had issues.
Dont even bother this was so bad
horrible buggy experience in a amazing game, but i may have founf this 2 hours after launch. so thats completely fine. the level design is typical in a good way and i found myself being got by a few stupid gimmicks like the ladder overa pit. with some patches this will be a solid b+ to A tier backrooms game
