Babushka's Glitch Dungeon

A short puzzle platformer about a Babushka exporing glitchy dungeon that opened under her house. The game revolves about switching between two different movement abilities out of a selection of four to get past the obstacles, and I found it fun. Corrupted NES rom aesthetic is also a unique selling point. It will take you about 3 hours to see and do everything in the game, would recommend.

Si la estética "a la abuela le está dando un jamacuco y flipa con que la realidad se glitchea" no te vende el juego del tirón, te alegrará saber que Babushka's Glitch Dungeon es un puzzle-platformer muy resultón. Babushka's Glitch Dungeon es una serie de niveles planteados de manera no lineal en los que la antes mencionada madre de una madre ha de usar poderes que recuerdan a bugs (No caer, saltar mucho, escalar por las paredes, ser inmortal) para superar los retos que se le presentan. En varios momentos usaremos nuestros poderes de maneras que no sabremos bien bien si el desarrollador quería que usásemos así, pero creo que es parte de la gracia: No saber cuanto de normalidad o cuanto de glitch maneja babushka en cada momento. Los niveles son una mezcla alocada de exploración, plataformeo y combate y hay secretos y desbloqueables con los que entretenerse durante unas 2-4 según como de habilidosos seamos. En mi opinión, es la duración perfecta para un juego que sabe entrar, mostrar todas sus bondades y salir antes de que se vuelva excesivamente largo o tedioso. Encima está dedicado a todas las abuelas del mundo, ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

It's fun game. Its pretty short I was bubbling around a lot, so your playthrough may be shorter. The movements can feel a bit floaty, but it's nothing you can't get used to. Its worth an afternoon, after all where else do you get to play as a granny!!

The game's glitchy. :) Like for real, I got stuck in a wall a couple of times, mostly getting pushed by enemies and such. And there were a couple of times where the dialogue popup would stay on the screen until restart. Even during the boss figth. But it fits the theme perfectly, so I don't even mind. The powers, platforming, etc. is well done. Short but sweet experience. Well worth it for the price I paid (on sale).
