This game is an interesting surprise to me. It has a very good combination of music, sounds, scenery, cartoonish feel, right 3d models, that gives a really nice atmosphere/feeling to the game. It also has a nice cartoonish feel about it. It can also be a little frustrating when it comes to advancing in the game, as it does challenge you. It also has small puzzles from time to time, patterns that you need to recognize in order to be able to advance in the game. It is challenging, fun and it teaches you patience and the sense of observation.
Now this is something special! This game is a somehow strange but really original combination of two types of games that I've never seen together before, but would definitely love to see again! One is a fantasy type adventure game with RPG elements, like different armors and weapons that you need to collect in order to defeat increasingly stronger opponents. And what I found surprisingly refreshing about this part is that the difficulty comes not so much from the puzzles of figuring out which order to get the items in, and which enemies to attack first, which will definitely require more tries until you can figure out the best solution, but from the often tricky movement patterns of the invincible opponents, that you only need to avoid in order to progress, but which can one-shot kill you, making you restart the level. And that cartoonish look that most of them have adds to the wierdness and trippiness of the whole feeling of the game. I must admit, after fighting skeletons and bloodthirsty ogres, it is somewhat frustrating to be killed instantly by a fluffy bunny or a flying ball of cuteness that seems just to be going about its normal business (I'm getting some really strong Mario Bros. vibes here), but that only adds to the desire to retry the level and the originality of the whole concept. Somehow, the more innocent a monster looks, the deadlier it is :), and the calming, childish music of some levels makes it harder to be on careful about the dangers, which can often surprise you. The other part of this game is a series of linear but increasingly difficult and tricky obstacle race tracks, which, totally unlike the rest of the levels with a medieval fantasy feel, have a more spacey and sci-fi setting. The gameplay, the vehicle, the obstacles and even the music transport you in a totally different world which somehow does manage to feel, in a strange way, connected to the other one. This puts the theme of the game in a whole new perspective, pointing towards a post-apocalyptic setting, with old-school monsters, swords and armors, but retaining contemporary and futuristic elements, or maybe just a different reality in which these elements coexist, another argument for the originality of this game. And, while I pointed out the difficulty of the adventure levels, the obstacle course ones will be the ones to really test your skills. They are shorter but the need for good reflexes is higher, and the fact that these two types of levels alternate brings a welcome change of pace within the game. Overall, while, in its current state, the game could benefit from some improvements, I find it to be a refreshing original creation among so many clones of overused concepts. I am curious to see the next games that the developers will come up with in the future, as I expect they will only get better. Keep up the good work!
Very good game made with love and eazy to play (exept for the cub parts thy were a challenge for me) but in conclusion this game is very good and entertaining. :)
I like the music, story and the armor sets. Nice colors . Once you get the hang of it it's a pretty nice game to play.
It's a beautiful game. Storyline and gameplay variety kept me enough motivated to finish tasks and end the map through portals. Game's challenges sometimes push nerves to the limit , but satisfaction was greater when I managed to overcome all Bosses and obstacle Races. Also I felt I'm playing 2 games in one because of hybrid nature of the Game. Overall I would give 8/10 score . Worth it.
